But Mordecai found out about the plot and told Queen Esther, who in turn reported it to the king, giving credit to Mordecai.

So Mordecai found out about it and told Queen Esther. Then she reported it to the king. She told him that Mordecai had uncovered the plans against him.

And this came to the knowledge of Mordecai, and he told it to Queen Esther, and Esther told the king in the name of Mordecai.

But Mordecai heard about the plot and gave the information to Queen Esther. She then told the king about it and gave Mordecai credit for the report.

When Mordecai learned of the plot, he reported it to Queen Esther, and she told the king on Mordecai’s behalf.

So the matter became known to Mordecai, who told Queen Esther, and Esther informed the king in Mordecai’s name.

And the thing became known to Mordecai, who showed it unto Esther the queen; and Esther told the king thereof in Mordecai’s name.

那一夜，王睡不着觉，就吩咐人把史记，就是年鉴拿来，在王面前诵读。有一处记着说：王有两个守门的太监：辟探和提列，企图要谋害亚哈随鲁王；这事给末底改告发了。

神的丰富、智慧和知识，是多么高深啊！他的判断是多么难测，他的道路是多么难寻！

各人不要单顾自己的事，也要顾别人的事。

不要在意念中咒骂君王，也不要在卧房中咒骂财主，因为空中的飞鸟会传声，有翅膀的会述说这事。

到了天亮，犹太人在一起秘密计谋，并且发誓说，不杀保罗，就不吃不喝。一同策划这项阴谋的有四十多人。他们来见众祭司长和长老，说：“我们已经发了誓，不杀保罗，就不吃东西。现在你们和公议会要通知千夫长，带保罗到你们这里来，装作要详细审查他。我们已经预备好了，不等他走近，就把他杀了。”但保罗的外甥听见这项埋伏的诡计，就到营楼去，告诉保罗。保罗请了一个百夫长来，说：“请你带这个青年人去见千夫长，他有事要报告。”百夫长就带保罗的外甥去见千夫长，说：“囚犯保罗请了我去，求我带这个青年人来见你，他有事要向你报告。”千夫长拉着他的手，走到一边，私下问他：“你有什么事要向我报告？”他说：“犹太人已经约好了，要求你明天把保罗带到公议会里去，装作要详细审查他。你不要听他们，因为他们有四十多人正在埋伏起来等着保罗；他们发了誓，不杀保罗，就不吃不喝。现在他们已经准备好了，只等你答应。”千夫长嘱咐那青年人：“不要告诉人你把这事告诉了我。”然后就打发他走了。
