But Mordecai found out about the plot and told Queen Esther, who in turn reported it to the king, giving credit to Mordecai.

So Mordecai found out about it and told Queen Esther. Then she reported it to the king. She told him that Mordecai had uncovered the plans against him.

And this came to the knowledge of Mordecai, and he told it to Queen Esther, and Esther told the king in the name of Mordecai.

But Mordecai heard about the plot and gave the information to Queen Esther. She then told the king about it and gave Mordecai credit for the report.

When Mordecai learned of the plot, he reported it to Queen Esther, and she told the king on Mordecai’s behalf.

But the plot became known to Mordecai and he informed Queen Esther, and Esther told the king in Mordecai’s name.

So the matter became known to Mordecai, who told Queen Esther, and Esther informed the king in Mordecai’s name.

And the thing became known to Mordecai, who showed it unto Esther the queen; and Esther told the king thereof in Mordecai’s name.

那夜王睡不着覺，吩咐人取歷史書，就是史籍，念給他聽，發現書上寫着：王有兩個守門的太監辟探和提列，想要下手害亞哈隨魯王，末底改告發了這件事。

深哉，神的豐富、智慧和知識！他的判斷何其難測！他的蹤跡何其難尋！

各人不要單顧自己的事，也要顧別人的事。

不可詛咒君王，連起意也不可，在臥室裏也不可詛咒富人；因為空中的飛鳥必傳揚這聲音，有翅膀的必述說這事。

到了天亮，猶太人同謀起誓，說「若不先殺保羅就不吃不喝」。參與這陰謀的有四十多人。他們來見祭司長和長老，說：「我們已經發了重誓，若不先殺保羅就甚麼也不吃。現在你們和議會要通知千夫長，叫他把保羅帶到你們這裏來，假裝要詳細調查他的事；我們已經預備好，在他來到這裏以前就殺掉他。」保羅的外甥聽見他們設下埋伏，就來到營樓裏告訴保羅。保羅請一個百夫長來，說：「你領這青年去見千夫長，他有事告訴他。」於是百夫長把他領去見千夫長，說：「被囚的保羅請我到他那裏，求我領這青年來見你；他有事告訴你。」千夫長就拉着他的手，走到一旁，私下問他：「你有甚麼事告訴我呢？」他說：「猶太人已經約定，要求你明天把保羅帶到議會去，假裝要詳細查問他的事。你切不要隨從他們，因為他們有四十多人埋伏，已經起誓，若不先殺掉保羅就不吃不喝。現在都預備好了，只等你的允准。」於是千夫長打發那青年走，囑咐他：「不要告訴人，你已將這些事報告我了。」
