他把权能者从高位上拉下，又把卑微的人高举。

看哪，我要使那些属于撒旦会堂的，就是那些自称是犹太人，其实不是犹太人，而是说谎的人——看哪，我要使他们来，在你脚前下拜；他们就会知道我已经爱了你，

那些曾苦待你的，他们的子孙都必来向你屈身；所有曾藐视你的，都要在你的脚前下拜；他们要称你为“耶和华的城”、“以色列圣者的锡安”。

末迪凯穿着蓝色、白色的王袍，戴着一个很大的金冠冕，披着紫色细麻布外袍，从王面前出来；苏萨城的人都欢喜呼喊。

各省所有的首领，以及行政官、省长和办理王事务的人，都支持犹太人，因为他们惧怕末迪凯。
