王说：“末底改做了这事，有没有赐给他什么尊荣或高位呢？”伺候王的臣仆说：“没有赐给他什么。”

王说：“末底改做了这事，有没有赐给他什么尊荣或高位呢？”伺候王的臣仆说：“没有赐给他什么。”

王便问：“末底改既行此事，可曾赐他什么尊荣和爵位吗？”服侍王的臣仆回答说：“没有赐他什么。”

“ What honor and recognition has Mordecai received for this?” the king asked.“ Nothing has been done for him,” his attendants answered.

“ What great honor has Mordecai received for doing that?” the king asked.“ Nothing has been done for him,” his attendants answered.

And the king said,“ What honor or distinction has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” The king’s young men who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

“ What reward or recognition did we ever give Mordecai for this?” the king asked. His attendants replied,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

The king inquired,“ What honor and special recognition have been given to Mordecai for this act?” The king’s personal attendants replied,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

Then the king said,“ What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

Then the king said,“ What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

And the king said, What honor and dignity hath been bestowed on Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.

The king inquired,“ What honor and special recognition have been given to Mordecai for this act?” The king’s personal attendants replied,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

我聽說你能解釋異夢，也能解答難題。現在你若能讀這文字，把它的意思向我說明，就必身穿紫袍，頸戴金鍊，在國中掌權，位列第三。”

那時，部百流的父親患了痢疾，發熱臥病在床，保羅到他那裡，為他祈禱按手，醫好了他。這麼一來，島上其他有病的都來了，也都治好了。他們多方面尊敬我們；到開船的時候，又把我們所需要的東西送來。

於是伯沙撒下令，人就把紫袍給但以理穿上，把金鍊戴在他的頸上，又宣告他在國中掌權，位列第三。

迦勒說：“誰能攻打基列．西弗，把城攻取，我就把我的女兒押撒給他作妻子。”迦勒的弟弟基納斯的兒子俄陀聶攻取了那城，迦勒就把自己的女兒押撒給他作妻子。

以色列人彼此說：“這個上來的人你們看見了嗎？他上來是要向以色列人罵陣的。如果有人能擊殺他，王必賞賜他大財富，把自己的女兒給他作妻子，並且使他的父家在以色列中免納稅，免服役。”大衛問站在他旁邊的人說：“如果有人擊殺這個非利士人，除去以色列人的恥辱，那人會得到怎麼的對待呢？這未受割禮的非利士人是誰呢？竟敢向永活的神的軍隊罵陣？”

大衛說：“誰首先攻打耶布斯人，誰就必作首領和元帥。”洗魯雅的兒子約押首先上去，就作了首領。
