王说：“末底改做了这事，有没有赐给他什么尊荣或高位呢？”伺候王的臣仆说：“没有赐给他什么。”

王便问：“末底改既行此事，可曾赐他什么尊荣和爵位吗？”服侍王的臣仆回答说：“没有赐他什么。”

Then the king said,“ What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

And the king said, What honor and dignity hath been bestowed on Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.

当时，普布利乌的父亲患热病和痢疾，躺在床上。保罗就进去为他祷告，按手在他身上，使他痊愈了。这么一来，岛上其他有病的人也都来了，并且都得了痊愈。他们十分尊重我们；开船的时候，还送上所需要的东西。

伯沙撒下令，人就给但以理穿上紫袍，把金链戴在他的颈项上，并宣布他是国中位居第三的掌权者。

以色列人中有人说：“你们看见上来的这人吗？他上来是为了羞辱以色列的。有谁能击杀这人，王必赏赐他极大的财富，并且会把女儿赐给他，还会使他的父家在以色列免除赋税。”大卫问站在旁边的人说：“如果有人击杀这非利士人，除掉以色列的羞辱，他会被怎样对待呢？这未受割礼的非利士人是谁，竟敢辱骂永生神的军队！”
