So Haman came in, and the king asked him,“ What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought in his heart,“ Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?”

哈曼就进去。王问他说：“王所喜悦尊荣的人，当如何待他呢？”哈曼心里说：“王所喜悦尊荣的，不是我是谁呢？”

When Haman entered, the king asked him,“ What should be done for the man the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought to himself,“ Who is there that the king would rather honor than me?”

Haman entered. Then the king asked him,“ What should be done for the man I want to honor?” Haman said to himself,“ Is there anyone the king would rather honor than me?”

So Haman came in, and the king said to him,“ What should be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?” And Haman said to himself,“ Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?”

So Haman came in, and the king said,“ What should I do to honor a man who truly pleases me?” Haman thought to himself,“ Whom would the king wish to honor more than me?”

Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

The pride of your heart has deceived you, You who dwell in the clefts of the rock, Whose habitation is high; You who say in your heart,‘ Who will bring me down to the ground?’

Then Haman told them of his great riches, the multitude of his children, everything in which the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the officials and servants of the king.

And all the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate bowed and paid homage to Haman, for so the king had commanded concerning him. But Mordecai would not bow or pay homage.Then the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate said to Mordecai,“ Why do you transgress the king’s command?”

Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually,“ Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

And Haman answered the king,“ For the man whom the king delights to honor,

For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them;

And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying,“ This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.’

that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.

There is a generation— oh, how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up.

Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him:‘ Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’”

“ Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the Lord delights in you, And your land shall be married.For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you.

So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him,“ Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!”
