以斯帖回答说：“敌人和仇家就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前十分惊恐。

以斯帖回答：“这敌人和仇人，就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前立刻惊惶万分。

以斯帖说：“那敌人、那仇敌，就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼就在王和王后面前惊惶失措。

以斯帖說：『敵人、仇敵、就是哈曼這個壞人！』哈曼在王和王后面前立即驚惶失措。

以斯帖說：「那敵人、那仇敵，就是這惡人哈曼！」哈曼就在王和王后面前驚惶失措。

以斯帖曰、厥仇厥敵、即此惡人哈曼也、於是哈曼驚懼、在王與后前、

后曰、敵非他、哈曼是也。哈曼於王及后前、不勝股栗。

以斯帖曰、敵人仇人即此惡人哈曼、哈曼於王及后前、不勝恐懼、

Esther said,“ An adversary and enemy! This vile Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

Esther said,“ The man hates us! He’s our enemy! He’s this evil Haman!” Then Haman was terrified in front of the king and queen.

And Esther said,“ A foe and enemy! This wicked Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and the queen.

Esther replied,“ This wicked Haman is our adversary and our enemy.” Haman grew pale with fright before the king and queen.

Esther answered,“ The adversary and enemy is this evil Haman.” Haman stood terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said,“ A foe and an enemy is this wicked Haman!” Then Haman became terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said,“ The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!” So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said, An adversary and an enemy, even this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

Esther answered,“ The adversary and enemy is this evil Haman.” Haman stood terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said, The adversary and enemy[ is] this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

Esther replied,“ The oppressor and enemy is this evil Haman!” Then Haman became terrified in the presence of the king and queen.

Esther said,“ An adversary and an enemy, even this wicked Haman!” Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. (niv)

If only you, God, would slay the wicked! Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name.Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord, and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies. (niv)

“ The lamp of a wicked man is snuffed out; the flame of his fire stops burning.The light in his tent becomes dark; the lamp beside him goes out.The vigor of his step is weakened; his own schemes throw him down.His feet thrust him into a net; he wanders into its mesh.A trap seizes him by the heel; a snare holds him fast.A noose is hidden for him on the ground; a trap lies in his path.Terrors startle him on every side and dog his every step.Calamity is hungry for him; disaster is ready for him when he falls. (niv)

They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills.Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence.From their callous hearts comes iniquity; their evil imaginations have no limits.They scoff, and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression.Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth. (niv)

A king’s wrath is a messenger of death, but the wise will appease it. (niv)

Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote.His face turned pale and he was so frightened that his legs became weak and his knees were knocking. (niv)

God will judge those outside.“ Expel the wicked person from among you.” (niv)

Terrifying sounds fill his ears; when all seems well, marauders attack him.He despairs of escaping the realm of darkness; he is marked for the sword. (niv)

When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God. (niv)

So the king took his signet ring from his finger and gave it to Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. (niv)

As the old saying goes,‘ From evildoers come evil deeds,’ so my hand will not touch you. (niv)

When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. (niv)

Whoever says to the guilty,“ You are innocent,” will be cursed by peoples and denounced by nations.But it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and rich blessing will come on them. (niv)

If you see the poor oppressed in a district, and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things; for one official is eyed by a higher one, and over them both are others higher still. (niv)

till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny.Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin.How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors!They are like a dream when one awakes; when you arise, Lord, you will despise them as fantasies. (niv)

My heart falters, fear makes me tremble; the twilight I longed for has become a horror to me. (niv)
