那时法老心里刚硬，不让我们离开，耶和华就把埃及地所有头生的，无论是人或是牲畜都杀了；所以，我把所有头生的公牲口都献给耶和华为祭；但我所有头生的儿子，却都要代赎回来。

那時法老硬不要讓我們走，永恆主就把埃及地所有頭胎的，無論是頭胎的人、或是頭胎的牲口、都殺了，因此我把一切頭胎的公牲畜祭獻給永恆主，而將我一切頭胎的兒子都贖出來。

法老頑梗、不釋我往、耶和華將埃及之首生者、或人或畜、盡皆誅戮、故我以首生之牡畜祭之、其初胎之男子、則贖之焉、

法老剛愎厥心、不釋我出境、耶和華遍戮埃及人之初胎男子、首生牡畜、故我以首生牡畜、獻祭耶和華、其初胎男子、則以金贖。

法老剛愎、不釋我儕、主以伊及國凡一切首生者、自首生之人、至首生之畜、皆殺之、故我以首生之牡畜祭主、惟初胎之男子則贖之、

When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the Lord killed the firstborn of both people and animals in Egypt. This is why I sacrifice to the Lord the first male offspring of every womb and redeem each of my firstborn sons.’

Pharaoh was stubborn. He refused to let us go. So the Lord killed every oldest son in Egypt. He also killed all those born first among the people and animals. That’s why I sacrifice to the Lord every male animal born first. And that’s why I buy back each of my oldest sons for the Lord.’

For when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all the males that first open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, so the Lord killed all the firstborn males throughout the land of Egypt, both people and animals. That is why I now sacrifice all the firstborn males to the Lord— except that the firstborn sons are always bought back.’

And it came about, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord put to death every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from human firstborns to animal firstborns. Therefore, I sacrifice to the Lord the males, every firstborn of a womb, but every firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all males that open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

and it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that Jehovah slew all the first- born in the land of Egypt, both the first- born of man, and the first- born of beast: therefore I sacrifice to Jehovah all that openeth the womb, being males; but all the first- born of my sons I redeem.

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to release us, the LORD killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of people to the firstborn of animals. That is why I am sacrificing to the LORD the first male offspring of every womb, but all my firstborn sons I redeem.’

When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, Yahweh killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of livestock. Therefore I sacrifice to Yahweh all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well. (niv)
