以色列人中、凡初胎生者、無論人畜、悉當區別歸我、

“ Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether human or animal.”

凡爾牛羊首生之牡者、當區別為聖、歸於主爾之天主、首生之牛、毋用耕作、首生之羊、毋翦其毛、

如主律法所載云、凡初胎之男、必稱聖歸主、

凡獻於我之首生者、無論人畜、悉歸於爾、但人之首生必贖、不潔之畜之首生亦必贖、

一切首生、原歸於我、昔我在伊及地殺首生之時、即以以色列中首生者、無論人畜、區別為聖歸於我、我乃主、○

惟畜之首生者、無論牛羊、本歸於主、無庸再別為聖、

爾當以穀酒首熟者奉我、毋遲延、初胎之男亦必獻於我、爾首生之牛羊、亦必如是行、七日可偕母、至八日則獻於我、

有名錄於天諸長子之會、有審判眾人之天主、有義人得全者之靈、

爾田園初熟之物、當薦至爾天主耶和華之殿、毋以羔母之乳烹羔、○

利未人在以色列人中屬我、我選之歸我、以代以色列中一切初胎之男、蓋以色列中一切首生者、無論人畜、悉歸於我、昔我在伊及地戮諸長子時、以首生者、區別為聖歸於我、

當告法老曰、耶和華如是云、以色列乃我長子、

則必以一切初胎之男子、及爾畜中首生之牡畜、皆別之出、奉於主、凡首生之驢、必代贖以羔、若不代贖、則必折其頸、凡爾子中初胎生者、皆當贖之、他日、爾子若相問曰、行此何為、爾則告之曰、因主以大能導我出為奴之伊及、法老剛愎、不釋我儕、主以伊及國凡一切首生者、自首生之人、至首生之畜、皆殺之、故我以首生之牡畜祭主、惟初胎之男子則贖之、

凡初胎者悉歸我、爾畜之首生、無論牛羊、牡者悉歸我、惟首生之驢、當以羔代贖、否則折其頸、首生男子、必以金贖之、覲我時、毋徒手而至、
