On that day talk to your child. Say,‘ I’m doing this because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

那时，要告诉你们的子孙，‘这节期是纪念我们离开埃及时耶和华为我们所做的一切。’

在那日，你要告诉你的儿子说：‘这是因为耶和华在我从埃及出来的时候为我所行的事。’

當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：『這是因耶和華在我出埃及的時候為我所行的事。

當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：『這樣做是因為耶和華在我出埃及的時候為我所做的事。』

當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：『這樣做是因為耶和華在我出埃及的時候為我所做的事。』

那時，要告訴你們的子孫，『這節期是紀念我們離開埃及時耶和華為我們所做的一切。』

在那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：‘這是因為耶和華在我從埃及出來的時候為我所行的事。’

當那一天，你要告訴你的兒子說：「這是因為永恆主在我出埃及的時候為我行的事。」

其時當告汝子云、是禮也、乃誌出埃及時、耶和華為我所行者、

當告子孫、昔出埃及、耶和華拯我儕、故行此禮。

當日宜告爾子云、我行此禮、以誌我出伊及時主向我所行之事、

On that day tell your son,‘ I do this because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

You shall tell your son on that day,‘ It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

“ On the seventh day you must explain to your children,‘ I am celebrating what the Lord did for me when I left Egypt.’

On that day explain to your son,‘ This is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

And you shall tell your son on that day, saying,‘ It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

And you shall tell your son in that day, saying,‘ This is done because of what the Lord did for me when I came up from Egypt.’

And thou shalt tell thy son in that day, saying, It is because of that which Jehovah did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.

On that day explain to your son,‘ This is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying,[ This is done] because of that[ which] the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

You are to tell your son on that day,‘ It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

You shall tell your son in that day, saying,‘ It is because of that which Yahweh did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

“ In days to come, your child will ask you,‘ What does this mean?’ Say to them,‘ The Lord used his mighty hand to bring us out of Egypt. That’s the land where we were slaves.

God, we have heard what you did. Those who came before us have told us what you did in their days, in days long ago.

It is those who are alive who praise you. And that’s what I’m doing today. Parents tell their children about how faithful you are.

Your children will ask you,‘ What does this holy day mean to you?’Tell them,‘ It’s the Passover sacrifice to honor the Lord. He passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt. He spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’ ” Then the Israelites bowed down and worshiped.

Don’t be careless. Instead, be very careful. Don’t forget the things your eyes have seen. As long as you live, don’t let them slip from your mind. Teach them to your children and their children after them.Remember the day you stood at Mount Horeb. The Lord your God was there. He said to me,“ Bring the people to me to hear my words. I want them to learn to have respect for me as long as they live in the land. I want them to teach my words to their children.”

Then you will be able to tell your children and grandchildren how hard I was on the Egyptians. You can tell them I performed my signs among the people of Egypt. And all of you will know that I am the Lord.”

We have heard about them and we know them. Our people who lived before us have told us about them.We won’t hide them from our children. We will tell them to those who live after us. We will tell them what the Lord has done that is worthy of praise. We will talk about his power and the wonderful things he has done.He gave laws to the people of Jacob. He gave Israel their law. He commanded our people who lived before us to teach his laws to their children.Then those born later would know his laws. Even their children yet to come would know them. And they in turn would tell their children.Then they would put their trust in God. They would not forget what he had done. They would obey his commands.They would not be like their people who lived long ago. Those people were stubborn. They refused to obey God. They turned away from him. Their spirits were not faithful to him.

Fathers, don’t make your children angry. Instead, instruct them and teach them the ways of the Lord as you raise them.
