耶穌也對他們說：『是安息日為人而設立的，不是人為安息日；所以人子也是安息日的主。』

安息週的第一天，我們聚集擘餅的時候，保羅因為第二天將要出行，就向他們講論，把話延長到半夜。

地之深處在他手中；山之高峰乃屬於他。海屬於他，是他造的；旱地乃是他手形成的。來啊，我們來屈身敬拜，在造我們者永恆主面前跪下。因為他乃是我們的上帝；我們是他牧養的羊，他手下的人民。今日巴不得你們聽他的聲音！

上帝就給他們祝福說：『要繁殖增多，充滿全地，去征服它；也要管理海裏的魚、空中的飛鳥、和在地上行動的各樣活物。』
