When Moses went and told the people all the Lord’s words and laws, they responded with one voice,“ Everything the Lord has said we will do.”

Then Moses went down to the people and repeated all the instructions and regulations the Lord had given him. All the people answered with one voice,“ We will do everything the Lord has commanded.”

And Moses came and told the people all the words of Jehovah, and all the ordinances: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which Jehovah hath spoken will we do.

眾民僉曰、凡耶和華所諭、我必奉行、摩西乃以民言覆於耶和華、

宣讀約書、俾民聽聞、僉曰、耶和華所言、我悉遵行、

約書亞曰、爾擇耶和華而事之、爾自為證、曰、我自為證、

此誡命典章律例、乃爾上帝耶和華所命、以教爾者、使爾行之於爾所得為業之地、

以色列人歟、我今教爾遵守之典章律例、宜聽從之以得生、爾祖之上帝耶和華賜爾之地、可入而承之、

法度典章律例、出埃及後、摩西以之諭於以色列人、

我遵我上帝耶和華所命、教爾以典章律例、使行於入而為業之地、

爾其近前、聽我上帝耶和華所言、我上帝耶和華所諭爾者、以告於我、我必聽從遵行、○爾以此言告我、耶和華悉聞之、諭我曰、我聞斯民所語於爾、皆善言也、

摩西召以色列眾、告之曰、以色列人歟、我所諭爾之典章律例、爾當聽從、學習遵行、

茲有律例、當宣於民前曰、如購希伯來僕、可役事六年、迨七年、則使之自由、不索贖金、若孑身而來、則亦孑身而去、有妻則與俱去、若主給妻、生有子女、則妻孥屬主、僕孑然而去、若僕明言、我愛吾主、及我妻孥、不欲自由、則其主攜之詣上帝前、附門或門橛、以錐貫其耳、僕則恆事之、○如人鬻女為婢、則弗釋之、不與僕同、若主納之、而不見悅、則許其贖身、既已欺之、不可鬻於他族、若聘之與子、則當視之如女、若別有所娶、則其衣食之資、好合之誼、不可闕如、若不行此三者、則容其自去、毋索贖金、○擊人死者、殺無赦、若非謀殺、乃上帝付於其手、我必為之定可避之區、若擅攻其鄰、以詭計殺之、雖逃於我壇、亦執而殺之、○擊父母者、殺無赦、○虜人而鬻之、或留於其手者、殺無赦、○詛父母者、殺無赦、○如人相爭、或擊以石以拳、傷不至死、惟臥於牀、後起扶杖而出、則擊之者免刑、惟償其失時之值、醫之使愈、○以杖擊僕婢、而斃杖下者、必受刑、若一二日不死、則不受刑、蓋以金購之也、○如人相鬥、傷妊婦墮胎、而無他害、則當罰金、依其夫所定、折中於士師、若有他害、則當以命償命、

故當愛爾上帝耶和華、恆守其諭、及其典章、律例誡命、

然則律何為耶、乃為罪而設、待受許之裔至、又由天使於中保之手而訂、夫中保非一人之中保、惟上帝乃一也、

惟爾侍立我側、我將以誡命典章律例示爾、以教斯民、使行於我所賜為業之地、
