Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded,“ We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They answered,“ We will do everything the Lord has told us to do. We will obey him.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”

He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey all that the LORD has commanded.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it as the people listened; and they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.”

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that Jehovah hath spoken will we do, and be obedient.

He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey everything that the Lord has commanded.”

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

摩西以耶和華所諭命令法度、遍告億兆、同聲對曰、耶和華所諭、我必遵行。摩西錄耶和華所命、夙興、築壇山下、立十二柱、循以色列族十二支派。

以色列族眾俱至、立於爾上帝耶和華前、在其特簡為室之所、必誦此律法、使以色列眾聽之。當集眾民、男女幼稚、及旅於爾家者、俾其聽聞、寅畏爾上帝耶和華、守此律法。爾之子女、知識未開、聞此律法、及濟約但、以得斯土、亦畏爾上帝耶和華、畢生靡暨。

夫前約必歃血以堅之、摩西遵命傳誡與民、取牛羊血和以水、以絳綿束牛膝草、灑書與民、曰、此上帝所論爾之約之血、幕與禮器、皆灑以血、遵律法、物以血致潔者居多、蓋不流血、則不得赦、欲致潔法天之幕、必當用此式、則天幕尤當用善祭、

我所諭者、及使其敬聽我言、我必為其上帝、彼將為我民、如遵我命、必獲享通。爾祖不傾耳以聽、縱其私欲、輒蹈愆尤、退縮不前。

我因主令爾誦此書、與諸聖兄弟聽、

讀律例先知書畢、宰會堂者使人問曰、兄弟、若有勸民之語、請言之、

爾既讚吾書、則付老底嘉會、使彼亦得披覽、而爾亦讀所遺老底嘉人書、
