“ Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give.

“ Tell the people of Israel to bring me an offering. You must receive the offering for me from everyone whose hearts move them to give.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, that they take for me a contribution. From every man whose heart moves him you shall receive the contribution for me.

“ Tell the people of Israel to bring me their sacred offerings. Accept the contributions from all whose hearts are moved to offer them.

“ Tell the Israelites to take an offering for me. You are to take my offering from everyone who is willing to give.

“ Tell the sons of Israel to take a contribution for Me; from everyone whose heart moves him you shall take My contribution.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.

And[ some] of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which[ is] at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart,[ so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

And all they that[ were] about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all[ that] was willingly offered.

And all the silver and gold that thou canst find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which[ is] in Jerusalem:

And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.

And afterward[ offered] the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the LORD.

Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen,[ is yet] young and tender, and the work[ is] great: for the palace[ is] not for man, but for the LORD God.Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for[ things to be made] of gold, and the silver for[ things] of silver, and the brass for[ things] of brass, the iron for[ things] of iron, and wood for[ things] of wood; onyx stones, and[ stones] to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver,[ which] I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,[ Even] three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses[ withal]:The gold for[ things] of gold, and the silver for[ things] of silver, and for all manner of work[ to be made] by the hands of artificers. And who[ then] is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king’s work, offered willingly,And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.And they with whom[ precious] stones were found gave[ them] to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed[ be] thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.Thine, O LORD,[ is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all[ that is] in the heaven and in the earth[ is thine]; thine[ is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.Both riches and honour[ come] of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand[ is] power and might; and in thine hand[ it is] to make great, and to give strength unto all.Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.But who[ am] I, and what[ is] my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things[ come] of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.For we[ are] strangers before thee, and sojourners, as[ were] all our fathers: our days on the earth[ are] as a shadow, and[ there is] none abiding.O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name[ cometh] of thine hand, and[ is] all thine own.I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all[ these things], and to build the palace,[ for] the which I have made provision.And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day,[ even] a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams,[ and] a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed[ him] unto the LORD[ to be] the chief governor, and Zadok[ to be] priest.Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him[ such] royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.And the time that he reigned over Israel[ was] forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three[ years] reigned he in Jerusalem.And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they[ are] written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.

Thy people[ shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Take[ it] of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service:And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them[ was that] they should bear upon their shoulders.And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar.And the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:And his offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight thereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them[ were] full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One spoon of ten[ shekels] of gold, full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab.On the second day Nethaneel the son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, did offer:He offered[ for] his offering one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One spoon of gold of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Nethaneel the son of Zuar.On the third day Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun,[ did offer]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Eliab the son of Helon.On the fourth day Elizur the son of Shedeur, prince of the children of Reuben,[ did offer]:His offering[ was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Elizur the son of Shedeur.On the fifth day Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai, prince of the children of Simeon,[ did offer]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.On the sixth day Eliasaph the son of Deuel, prince of the children of Gad,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty[ shekels], a silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Eliasaph the son of Deuel.On the seventh day Elishama the son of Ammihud, prince of the children of Ephraim,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud.On the eighth day[ offered] Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, prince of the children of Manasseh:His offering[ was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.On the ninth day Abidan the son of Gideoni, prince of the children of Benjamin,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Abidan the son of Gideoni.On the tenth day Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, prince of the children of Dan,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.On the eleventh day Pagiel the son of Ocran, prince of the children of Asher,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Pagiel the son of Ocran.On the twelfth day Ahira the son of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.This[ was] the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:Each charger of silver[ weighing] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels[ weighed] two thousand and four hundred[ shekels], after the shekel of the sanctuary:The golden spoons[ were] twelve, full of incense,[ weighing] ten[ shekels] apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons[ was] an hundred and twenty[ shekels].All the oxen for the burnt offering[ were] twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings[ were] twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This[ was] the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.

And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This[ is] the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever[ is] of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’[ hair],And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,The ark, and the staves thereof,[ with] the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,The cloths of service, to do service in the holy[ place], the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing,[ and] they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted,[ and] brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered[ offered] an offering of gold unto the LORD.And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’[ hair], and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought[ them].Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD’S offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought[ it].And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun,[ both] of blue, and of purple,[ and] of scarlet, and of fine linen.And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’[ hair].And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer[ as] an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

My heart[ is] toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD.

Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:Every man[ shall give] as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.

Now therefore perform the doing[ of it]; that as[ there was] a readiness to will, so[ there may be] a performance also out of that which ye have.For if there be first a willing mind,[ it is] accepted according to that a man hath,[ and] not according to that he hath not.
