The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover.

They must have their wings spread up over the cover. The cherubim must face each other and look toward the cover.

The cherubim shall spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

The cherubim will face each other and look down on the atonement cover. With their wings spread above it, they will protect it.

基路伯張開它們的翅膀在約櫃的所在之上，以致基路伯在上面將櫃和櫃的杠都遮掩着。

又秤了精鍊的金子作香壇；又秤了金子作基路伯像車的樣子；基路伯張開翅膀，遮掩着永恆主的約櫃。

櫃上面有上帝「榮現」之象徵、基路伯、覆蔭着除罪蓋的座。關於這幾件、如今不能一一分開細說。

眾天使豈不是服事的靈，奉差遣為那將要承受拯救的人作服役的工麼？

故此為了天使的緣故、女人應該有服權的象徵在頭上。

以致上帝各種各樣的智慧如今得以藉着教會、讓天界中「眾執政的」、「眾掌權的」都知道了；

他必用大號筒差遣他的使者，將他揀選的人、由四方、從天這邊到天那邊、都聚攏來。

又對他說：『我實實在在地告訴你們，你們這就要看見天開着，上帝的使者在人子身上、上上下下呢！』

我把你安置跟一個護衛者被膏的基路伯在一起；你就在上帝的聖山上；在發光如火的寶石中間往來。

他做了一個夢，見有一道臺階立在地上、其上頭頂着天；竟有上帝的使者在臺階上上上下下呢。

他們得了啓示、知道他們在這些事上所作服事的工、並不是為了自己，乃是為了你們。藉着那些靠聖靈而傳福音給你們的人、這些事如今已經傳告給你們了（聖靈是那從天上被差遣的）。天使也切願詳細窺察這些事呢。

你們也是在他裏面得完全的。他是各「執政的」各「掌權的」的元首。

耶穌基督已經往天上去，現今在上帝的右邊，眾天使、眾「掌權」眾「有能力」的靈、都已順服於他了。

靈要往哪裏行，活物就往哪裏行；活物升起，輪子也跟牠們一道升起；因為活物的靈就在輪子裏。

我以為上帝是把我們做使徒的顯然列為最卑賤的廢物，好像定死罪的人：我們竟成了一齣戲給宇宙看，給天使給人類看呢！

他造了兩個基路伯在至聖所內、是造像的細工；用金子包它。

要用金子作兩個基路伯，用錘的法子來作，在除罪蓋的兩頭。

我又看，就聽見寶座活物和長老的四圍、有許多天使的聲音；他們的數目有千千萬萬。他們直大聲說：『被屠宰的羔羊是配得權能、豐富、智慧、力量、尊貴、榮耀、祝頌的。』

當烏西雅王去世那一年、我看見主坐在崇高又高聳的寶座上；他的衣裾垂滿着殿堂。在他四圍有撒拉弗侍立着；每一個都有六個翅膀：用兩個翅膀遮臉，兩個翅膀遮腳，兩個翅膀飛翔着。此唱彼和着說：『聖哉，聖哉，聖哉，萬軍之永恆主！他的榮光充滿着全地。』由於唱和者的聲音，門檻的根基都震動了，殿也充滿着煙霧。我說：『我有禍啦！我完啦！因為我是個嘴脣不潔淨的人，又住在嘴脣不潔淨的人民中，因為我親眼看見了大君王、萬軍之永恆主。』
