“ You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim.

『你要拿藍紫色紫紅色朱紅色的線、和撚的麻絲、作帷帳，用巧設圖案的作法製成的基路伯來作它。

以藍紫絳三色之縷、與撚綫細枲布作㡘、上繡良工所製之基路伯、

用紫赤絳三色之縷、與編棉為簾、上采織𠼻𡀔［口氷］。

以藍色紫色絳色縷、與撚之白細麻、製幕幔、按精細織法、上織基路伯、

“ Make a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim woven into it by a skilled worker.

“ Make a curtain out of blue, purple and bright red yarn and finely twisted linen. Have a skilled worker sew cherubim into the pattern.

“ And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen. It shall be made with cherubim skillfully worked into it.

“ For the inside of the Tabernacle, make a special curtain of finely woven linen. Decorate it with blue, purple, and scarlet thread and with skillfully embroidered cherubim.

“ You are to make a curtain of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen with a design of cherubim worked into it.

“ You shall also make a veil of violet, purple, and scarlet material, and fine twisted linen; it shall be made with cherubim, the work of a skilled embroiderer.

And thou shalt make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubim the work of the skilful workman shall it be made.

“ You are to make a veil of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen with a design of cherubim worked into it.

And he made the veil of blue, purple, crimson, and fine linen, and wove cherubim into it.

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,

And he made a veil of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen; it was worked with an artistic design of cherubim.

and the Lord said to Moses:“ Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

“ Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine woven linen and blue, purple, and scarlet thread; with artistic designs of cherubim you shall weave them.

by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,and having a High Priest over the house of God,

He has filled them with skill to do all manner of work of the engraver and the designer and the tapestry maker, in blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine linen, and of the weaver— those who do every work and those who design artistic works.

“ Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, which is for the people, bring its blood inside the veil, do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.

You shall put in it the ark of the Testimony, and partition off the ark with the veil.

“ You shall make the breastplate of judgment. Artistically woven according to the workmanship of the ephod you shall make it: of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, you shall make it.

Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

All the women who were gifted artisans spun yarn with their hands, and brought what they had spun, of blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, hung up the veil of the covering, and partitioned off the ark of the Testimony, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.

If I forget you, O Jerusalem, Let my right hand forget its skill!

THE BELOVED: How beautiful are your feet in sandals, O prince’s daughter! The curves of your thighs are like jewels, The work of the hands of a skillful workman.

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

And with him was Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver and designer, a weaver of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and of fine linen.

Then all the gifted artisans among them who worked on the tabernacle made ten curtains woven of fine linen, and of blue, purple, and scarlet thread; with artistic designs of cherubim they made them.

Therefore send me at once a man skillful to work in gold and silver, in bronze and iron, in purple and crimson and blue, who has skill to engrave with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.Also send me cedar and cypress and algum logs from Lebanon, for I know that your servants have skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and indeed my servants will be with your servants,to prepare timber for me in abundance, for the temple which I am about to build shall be great and wonderful.And indeed I will give to your servants, the woodsmen who cut timber, twenty thousand kors of ground wheat, twenty thousand kors of barley, twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.Then Hiram king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon: Because the Lord loves His people, He has made you king over them.Hiram also said: Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, for He has given King David a wise son, endowed with prudence and understanding, who will build a temple for the Lord and a royal house for himself!And now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram my master craftsman

and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All,which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance;the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.
