摩西轉身下山，手裏拿着兩塊法版。這版的兩面都寫着字，正面背面都有字。版是上帝的工作，字是上帝寫的字，刻在版上。

「這些話是耶和華在山上，從火焰、密雲、幽暗中，大聲吩咐你們全會眾的，再沒有加添別的話了。他把這些話寫在兩塊石版上，交給我。

耶和華對摩西說：「你上山到我這裏來，就在那裏，我要將石版，就是我所寫的律法和誡命賜給你，使你可以教導他們。」

而你們顯明自己是基督的書信，藉着我們寫成的。不是用墨寫的，而是用永生上帝的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，而是寫在心版上的。

術士對法老說：「這是上帝的手指。」法老心裏剛硬，不聽摩西和亞倫，正如耶和華所說的。

摩西在耶和華那裏四十晝夜，不吃飯不喝水。他把這約的話，那十條誡命，寫在版上。摩西下西奈山。摩西從山上下來的時候，手裏拿着兩塊法版。摩西不知道自己臉上的皮膚因耶和華和他說話而發光。

我若靠着上帝的靈趕鬼，那麼，上帝的國就已臨到你們了。

那用字刻在石頭上屬死的事奉尚且有榮光，以致以色列人因摩西臉上那逐漸褪色的榮光不能定睛看他的臉，那屬聖靈的事奉不是更有榮光嗎？

我若靠着上帝的能力趕鬼，那麼，上帝的國就已臨到你們了。

那些日子以後，我與以色列家所立的約是這樣：我要將我的律法放在他們裏面，寫在他們心上。我要作他們的上帝，他們要作我的子民。這是耶和華說的。

摩西進入雲中，登上了山。摩西在山上四十晝夜。

耶和華對摩西說：「你要鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣；我要把你摔碎的那版上先前所寫的字，寫在這版上。明日早晨，你要預備好了，上西奈山，在山頂那裏站在我面前。誰也不可和你上去，整座山都不可見到人，也不可有羊羣牛羣在山下吃草。」摩西就鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣。他清晨起來，遵照耶和華吩咐他的，上西奈山去，手裏拿着兩塊石版。

我上了山，要領受兩塊石版，就是耶和華與你們立約的版。那時我在山上住了四十晝夜，沒有吃飯，也沒有喝水。耶和華把那兩塊石版交給我，是上帝用指頭寫成的；版上是耶和華在大會的那一天，在山上從火中對你們所說的一切話。過了四十晝夜，耶和華把那兩塊石版，就是約版，交給我。
