Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the“ tent of meeting.” Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp.

這要做你們世世代代不斷的燔祭、獻在永恆主面前、會棚的出入處、因為在那裏我要和你們相會、在那裏我要對你們說話。在那裏我要和以色列人相會，那裏就會因我的榮耀而成為聖的。

因為牲畜的血由大祭司帶進聖所做為罪獻的祭，牲畜的身體卻在營外燒掉。所以耶穌也是這樣：耶穌為要藉自己的血叫人民成聖，就在城外受苦。這樣，我們也當出到營外去找他，去擔當他所受的辱罵。

但你們必從那裏尋求永恆主你的上帝；你若全心全意地尋找他，就會找着。

就使他們把兒女養大，我也必使他們喪失兒子，一個不留。我離開他們時，他們就有禍了！

永恆主跟惡人、離開很遠；義人的禱告他卻要聽。

當大衛在位的日子鬧饑荒，一年過一年、共三年；大衛就尋求朝見永恆主。永恆主說：『掃羅和他的家有殺人流血的罪，因為他殺死了基遍人。』

永恆主啊，你看見了，求你不要緘默；主啊，不要遠離我。

『要趁永恆主可找到時尋找他，趁他相近時呼求他。惡人要離棄自己的路；奸惡之輩要棄掉自己的意圖，回轉來歸永恆主，讓永恆主憐憫他，來歸我們的上帝，因為上帝廣行赦免。

『求，就給你們；尋找，就找着；敲門，就給你們開。因為凡求的，就得着；尋找的，就找着；敲門的，就給他開。

乃是你們的罪孽使你們跟你們的上帝隔絕，而你們的罪使他掩面不聽你們啊。

你說：『你們要求見我的面』，那時我心裏向你說：『永恆主啊，你的面我正在求見呢。』

永恆主啊，你為甚麼站在遠處？我在患難時你為甚麼掩面不顧呢？
