Take from among you a contribution to the Lord. Whoever is of a generous heart, let him bring the Lord’s contribution: gold, silver, and bronze;

每個人要照著心裡預先定好的，不要為難，也不要勉強，因為神喜愛那樂意給與的人。

在你掌權的日子，你的子民都甘心奉獻自己；你的少年人以聖潔為裝飾，如黎明初曉時的甘露歸屬你。

耶穌面對奉獻箱坐著，看眾人怎樣把錢投入奉獻箱裡。許多富有的人投進了很多錢。有一個窮寡婦來，投進兩個小錢，值一個銅幣。耶穌把他的門徒們召來，對他們說：「我確實地告訴你們：這窮寡婦所投入奉獻箱的，比所有的人投的更多。因為大家是從自己的富餘中拿出來投進去；而這寡婦是從自己的缺乏中，把她所擁有的一切，就是她全部的養生費用都投進去了。」

所以現在你們就當完成這事，好使你們怎樣有願做的樂意之心，就怎樣以你們所擁有的完成它；因為人如果有樂意之心，就會照著他所擁有的蒙悅納，並不是照著他所沒有的蒙悅納。
