实际上，我们受洗也都是藉着一位圣灵成为一个身体——无论是犹太人或外邦人，无论是奴隶或自由人——并且我们都是受了一位圣灵的浇灌。

我们却要在爱中说真话，在一切事上向着他长进；他就是头，是基督。本于他，全身藉着每一个关节的支持，照着每一个部分适当的功用，互相连接，结合在一起，使身体渐渐成长，以致在爱中建立自己。

耶路撒冷被建造，如同连为一体的城市。

弟兄们，我藉着我们主耶稣基督的名，恳求你们大家言语一致；你们中间不要分裂，而要在同一个心思、同一个目的上得以完备。

他们同心合意，不但天天恒切地在圣殿聚集，还在各家各户掰饼。他们怀着喜乐和诚恳的心用饭，

看哪，弟兄们合一居住，是多么美好，多么美妙——

在基督耶稣里，全部建筑互相连接，渐渐成为在主里的圣殿；

他救我们脱离了如此致命的危险，并且将来要救我们——我们盼望他将来还要救我们。

好让你们有能力与所有圣徒一起了解基督的爱是多么长、阔、高、深——明白那超越了人所能理解的基督之爱，好让你们得以满足，达到神一切的丰盛完美。
