They made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide and two cubits high— its horns of one piece with it.

he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter the Holy Place of the Lord and burn incense.Now the whole crowd of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering.

You are blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that makes the gift sacred?

But once he became powerful, his pride destroyed him. He disobeyed the LORD his God. He entered the LORD’s temple to offer incense on the incense altar.

you yourselves, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood and to offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Another angel holding a golden censer came and was stationed at the altar. A large amount of incense was given to him to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar that is before the throne.The smoke coming from the incense, along with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

We have an altar that those who serve in the tabernacle have no right to eat from.

And he put the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the curtain,and he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
