“ Our fathers had the tent of witness in the wilderness, just as he who spoke to Moses directed him to make it, according to the pattern that he had seen.

In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud lifted from over the tabernacle of the testimony,

So the king summoned Jehoiada the chief and said to him,“ Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and Jerusalem the tax levied by Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the congregation of Israel for the tent of testimony?”

Aaron took as his wife Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab and the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

And with you bring your brothers also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may join you and minister to you while you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony.

And Moses deposited the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony.On the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony, and behold, the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.

I think it right, as long as I am in this body, to stir you up by way of reminder,

And you shall put into the ark the testimony that I shall give you.

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.

a minister in the holy places, in the true tent that the Lord set up, not man.

I weighed out into their hand 650 talents of silver, and silver vessels worth 200 talents, and 100 talents of gold,20 bowls of gold worth 1,000 darics, and two vessels of fine bright bronze as precious as gold.And I said to them,“ You are holy to the Lord, and the vessels are holy, and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering to the Lord, the God of your fathers.Guard them and keep them until you weigh them before the chief priests and the Levites and the heads of fathers’ houses in Israel at Jerusalem, within the chambers of the house of the Lord.”So the priests and the Levites took over the weight of the silver and the gold and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem, to the house of our God.

And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.

O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?

For a tent was prepared, the first section, in which were the lampstand and the table and the bread of the Presence. It is called the Holy Place.Behind the second curtain was a second section called the Most Holy Place,

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,“ Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

And Peter said to Jesus,“ Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
