「你告訴以色列人當為我送禮物來；凡甘心樂意的，你們就可以收下歸我。

我為我神的殿已經盡力，預備金子做金器，銀子做銀器，銅做銅器，鐵做鐵器，木做木器，還有紅瑪瑙可鑲嵌的寶石，彩石和一切的寶石，並許多漢白玉。且因我心中愛慕我神的殿，就在預備建造聖殿的材料之外，又將我自己積蓄的金銀獻上，建造我神的殿，就是俄斐金三千他連得、精鍊的銀子七千他連得，以貼殿牆。金子做金器，銀子做銀器，並藉匠人的手製造一切。今日有誰樂意將自己獻給耶和華呢？」於是，眾族長和以色列各支派的首領、千夫長、百夫長，並監管王工的官長，都樂意獻上。他們為神殿的使用獻上金子五千他連得零一萬達利克，銀子一萬他連得，銅一萬八千他連得，鐵十萬他連得。

凡心裏樂意獻禮物的，連男帶女，各將金器，就是胸前鍼、耳環、打印的戒指，和手釧帶來獻給耶和華。

萬軍之耶和華說：「銀子是我的，金子也是我的。

「人若在耶和華的聖物上誤犯了罪，有了過犯，就要照你所估的，按聖所的舍客勒拿銀子，將贖愆祭牲－就是羊羣中一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊－牽到耶和華面前為贖愆祭；

都放在亞倫的手上和他兒子的手上，作為搖祭，在耶和華面前搖一搖。

你估定的，從二十歲到六十歲的男人，要按聖所的平，估定價銀五十舍客勒。

我在困難之中為耶和華的殿預備了金子十萬他連得，銀子一百萬他連得，銅和鐵多得無法可稱；我也預備了木頭、石頭，你還可以增添。你有許多匠人，就是石匠、木匠，和一切能做各樣工的巧匠，並有無數的金銀銅鐵。你當起來辦事，願耶和華與你同在。」
