我為我上帝的殿已經盡力，預備金子做金器，銀子做銀器，銅做銅器，鐵做鐵器，木做木器，還有紅瑪瑙、可鑲嵌的寶石、彩石、各樣的寶石和許多大理石。此外，因我愛慕我上帝的殿，在預備建造聖殿的一切材料之外，又將我自己積蓄的金銀獻給我上帝的殿，就是三千他連得俄斐金子、七千他連得純銀，用來貼殿的牆；金子做金器，銀子做銀器，並藉工匠的手做一切的工。今日有誰願意將自己獻給耶和華呢？」於是，眾族長和以色列各支派的領袖、千夫長、百夫長，以及監管王工作的官長，都樂意奉獻。他們為上帝殿的工程獻上五千他連得又一萬達利克金子，一萬他連得銀子，一萬八千他連得銅，十萬他連得鐵。

和五百桂皮，都按照聖所的舍客勒；再取一欣橄欖油，

凡甘心樂意的，連男帶女都來了，各將金器，就是胸針、耳環、打印的戒指，和項鏈帶來，搖着金器的搖祭獻給耶和華。

銀子是我的，金子也是我的。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

「若有人在耶和華的聖物上無意中犯了罪，有了過犯，就要獻羊羣中一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊給耶和華為贖愆祭，或依聖所的舍客勒所估定的銀子，作為贖愆祭。

把它們都放在亞倫的手和他兒子的手上，在耶和華面前搖一搖，作為搖祭。

你所估的是：二十歲到六十歲男的，按照聖所的舍客勒，估價是五十舍客勒銀子。

看哪，我辛苦地為耶和華的殿預備了十萬他連得金子，一百萬他連得銀子，銅和鐵多得無法可秤；我也預備了木頭、石頭，你還可以增添。你有許多工匠，就是石匠、木匠，和一切能做各樣工的巧匠，以及無數的金銀銅鐵。你當起來做工，願耶和華與你同在。」
