「到那天，必為大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民開一個泉源，洗淨他們的罪惡和污穢。

耶和華啊，我洗手表明清白，再走到你的壇前，

真正有需要、無依無靠的寡婦仰賴上帝的幫助，晝夜不住地禱告祈求。

耶穌說：「洗過澡的人全身是乾淨的，只要洗洗腳就好了。你們是乾淨的，但不是每一個都乾淨。」

藉著重生之洗和聖靈的更新拯救了我們，這並非因為我們有義行，而是因為祂的憐憫。上帝藉著我們的救主耶穌基督把聖靈豐豐富富地澆灌在我們身上。

他把洗濯盆放在會幕和祭壇之間，盆裡盛水，供洗濯用。摩西、亞倫及其眾子都在那裡清洗手腳，他們進會幕或走近祭壇的時候，都要先清洗，都遵照耶和華的吩咐。

彼得留在門外。後來，大祭司所認識的那個門徒出來對看門的女僕說了一聲，便把彼得也帶了進去。

他又用銅製造了十個盆，盆徑一點八米，容量八百八十升。十個銅盆分別放在十個盆座上。

他又鑄造了一個圓形的銅海，高二點二五米，直徑四點五米，周長十三點五米。在銅海的邊緣下圍繞著兩圈野瓜圖案，每米有二十個野瓜，是跟銅海一起鑄造的。有十二頭銅牛馱著銅海，三頭向北，三頭向西，三頭向南，三頭向東。銅海安在牛上，牛尾都向內。銅海厚八釐米，邊如杯邊，又如百合花，容量是四萬四千升。

人若聽從我、天天在我門口仰望、時時在我門邊等候，就有福了。

當時，彼得還坐在外面的院子裡，有一個婢女走過來對他說：「你也是跟那個加利利人耶穌一夥的。」

因為這些不過是關於飲食和各樣潔淨禮儀的外在規條，等新秩序的時代一到，便不再有效了。

「你用銅造一個洗濯盆和盆座，放在會幕和祭壇之間，盆裡盛著水，供亞倫父子們洗手洗腳，他們進會幕或在壇上獻火祭之前，一定要自潔才可以供職，免得死亡。他們要洗手洗腳，免得死亡，這是亞倫和他的子孫世世代代都要守的條例。」

孩子們，不要受人迷惑，要知道行義的才是義人，正如主是公義的。
