主曾發誓、必不更變、曰、爾必法乎麥基洗德永遠為祭司、

凡由人間選為大祭司者、皆為人而立、以理崇奉天主之事、使其獻禮物與贖罪之祭、彼既多懦弱、必能體恤愚昧迷罔之人、是以彼獻贖罪之祭、當為民獻、亦為己獻、此大祭司之尊位、非蒙召於天主如亞倫者、無人可自取、如此、基督亦未嘗自尊為大祭司、乃語彼云、爾乃我子、我今日生爾者立之為大祭司、如經他章云、爾永為祭司、循麥基洗德之等次、基督在世為人之時、原文作基督在肉體之時大聲號泣、祈禱籲懇能救其免死者、遂蒙應允、解其憂懼、遂蒙應允解其憂懼或作因有敬畏之心即蒙允聽雖為子、亦受苦難、而學順服、及成全、則為凡順服之者成為永救之原、天主稱之為大祭司、循麥基洗德之等次焉、○論及此人、或作論及此事我有多言、難以解說、因爾聽之、懵然不明故也、爾曹學道已久、當為他人之師、但今復需人以天主道之開端教爾、爾成為需乳不需堅實之食者、凡食乳者、不明義之道、以其為嬰孩也、惟成人方食堅實之食、其心因習練而明、能別善惡矣、

蓋天主云、原文作蓋其證云爾永為祭司、循麥基洗德之等次、前之法度、輕弱無益、故廢之、蓋律法無所成全、惟新賜更美之望、我儕賴以近於天主前、且耶穌為祭司非不以誓而立、利未人為祭司、皆不以誓而立、惟耶穌則以誓、蓋經指之云、主誓而不改、爾永為祭司、循麥基洗德之等次、如是、則耶穌為更美之約之中保、彼眾為祭司者、相繼甚多、因有死而不能常、惟耶穌原文作惟此既永存、故其祭司之職、亦永不更易、

前所言之大旨、即我儕有如此大祭司、在天坐於至大者寶座之右、司理聖所聖所或作聖事及真幕、乃主所設、非人所設者、凡大祭司皆為獻禮物祭祀而立、故亦當有所獻之物、耶穌原文作彼若仍在地、則不得為祭司、蓋在地已有祭司、遵律法獻祭、彼眾在此所用以奉事天主者、即在天者之影與像、如昔摩西將造幕時、天主命之曰、爾當慎、爾造諸物、皆循在山所示爾之式、今所立之約更美、立約所許之福亦更美、耶穌既為此約之中保、則其所得祭司之職亦更美、前約若無虧缺、則無立後約之處、［經載］主責民曰、日將至、我與以色列家及猶大家、將立新約、此約、不似我與其祖所立之約、即我援其手、導之出伊及時所立者、蓋彼不守我約、故我不眷顧之、此乃主所言者、主又曰、此日之後、我與以色列家所立之約、即將以我之律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、我將為彼之天主、彼將為我之民、

以大帶束亞倫與其諸子、以冠冠之、爾如是為亞倫與其諸子行立祭司禮、則彼得祭司之職、永定為例、

彼無父母、無譜系、無生之始、無壽之終、乃如天主之子、永為祭司、

爾曹當記憶此日、定為節期、於主前謹守、歷代守之、永為定例、

自來位尊者、必為位卑者祝福、此不可駁之理也、

爾告以色列人曰、此膏當歷代以為聖物歸於我、

凡以此法私調和如此之膏、或以此膏膏他人者、其人必滅絕於民中、○
