He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it.

Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.

It contained the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered entirely with gold. In this ark were the golden urn containing the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.

God publicly displayed him at his death as the mercy seat accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate his righteousness, because God in his forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed.

For Christ is the end of the law, with the result that there is righteousness for everyone who believes.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,by the fresh and living way that he inaugurated for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

He gave Moses two tablets of testimony when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, tablets of stone written by the finger of God.

You are to place the ark of the testimony in it and shield the ark with the special curtain.
