“ Get the anointing oil. Anoint the holy tent and everything in it. Set apart the holy tent and everything that belongs to it. Then it will be holy.

“ Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furniture, so that it may become holy.

It will be the sacred anointing oil.Then use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law,the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense,the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand.You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy.“ Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.Say to the Israelites,‘ This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come.Do not pour it on anyone else’s body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred.Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from their people.’”

You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.

For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,

They also made the sacred anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense— the work of a perfumer.

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.
