the magicians said to Pharaoh,“ This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the Lord had said.

So the magicians said to Pharaoh,“ God’s powerful finger has done this.” But Pharaoh remained stubborn. He wouldn’t listen, just as the Lord had said.

Then the magicians said to Pharaoh,“ This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.

but keep watching it. If it goes up to its own territory, toward Beth Shemesh, then the Lord has brought this great disaster on us. But if it does not, then we will know that it was not his hand that struck us but that it happened to us by chance.” (niv)

They answered,“ If you return the ark of the god of Israel, do not send it back to him without a gift; by all means send a guilt offering to him. Then you will be healed, and you will know why his hand has not been lifted from you.” (niv)

The astrologers answered the king,“ There is no one on earth who can do what the king asks! No king, however great and mighty, has ever asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or astrologer.What the king asks is too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among humans.” (niv)

But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (niv)
