『在西邊按着他們的部隊是以法蓮營的大旗；有亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪做以法蓮人的族長。

沒有牛、就沒有穀子；出產豐盛、由於耕牛的力量。

『你們要懷念這事，而堅定不移，悖逆的人哪，心裏回想吧！

迦得人之中有的分出來、到曠野的山寨去投奔大衛，都是有力氣英勇的人、對戰事很有經驗的人，能使用大盾牌和槍；他們的臉面好像獅子的臉面；說到快跑、他們就如山上的瞪羚羊：

頭一隻像獅子，有鷹的翅膀。我直觀看，看見牠的翅膀被拔去，牠從地上被扶起，須用兩腳站立、像人一樣；又有人的心給了牠。

長老中有一位對我說：『別哭了！你看，猶大支派的獅子、大衛的根、已經得勝，可以展開那書卷、而揭開其七印了。』

但那等候永恆主的、必從新得力；他們必如鷹展翅上騰；他們奔跑，也不困倦，他們行走，也不疲乏。

在東邊日出的方向照他們的部隊紮營的、是猶大營的大旗；有亞米拿達的兒子拿順做猶大人的族長。

在第七天太陽未落以前、城裏的人便對參孫說：『有甚麼比蜜還甜呢？有甚麼比獅子還強呢？』參孫對他們說：『你們若不是用我那未生犢的母牛犂田，就猜不出我謎語的意思來。』

永恆主必從遠方、從地儘邊把一國的人帶來像兀鷹突飛猛攫來攻擊你。這一國說的話你不曉得聽，

『在南邊、按着他們的部隊、是如便營的大旗；有示丟珥的兒子以利蓿做如便人的族長。

兀鷹上騰，在高處搭窩，是聽你的吩咐麼？

我告訴你們，為了一個罪人悔改，在上帝的使者面前也這樣地有喜樂。』

在摩西的律法上記着說：『牛踹穀時、你別套住牠的嘴。』難道上帝是關心於牛麼？還是特為我們說的呢？的確是為我們而寫的；因為犂田的該存着指望犂；打穀的該存着分享的指望打。

弟兄們，在見識上別做小孩子；但在惡事上卻要做嬰孩；在見識上總要做成人。
