號角聲越來越嘹亮。摩西說話，上帝就回應他，聲音好像雷鳴。

這些宮殿，從根基到牆頂，從外院到內殿用的都是上等的石頭，按規格裡外用鋸切割整齊。

請仔細聽祂發出的雷聲，聽祂口中發出的轟鳴。祂使閃電劃過整個天空，亮光直照到地極。隨後雷聲隆隆，祂發出威嚴之聲。祂一發聲，雷電交加。上帝發出奇妙的雷聲，我們無法測度祂偉大的作為。

到了第三天早晨，山上雷電大作，烏雲密佈，又有嘹亮的號角聲，營中的百姓都膽戰心驚。

他又建了祭司院、大院及大院的門，門都包上銅。

那時雷電交加，號角嘹亮，山上冒煙，百姓看見此情景，都嚇得渾身顫抖，不敢挨近。他們對摩西說：「求你跟我們說話，我們必聽從。不要讓上帝直接跟我們說話，恐怕我們會喪命！」

耶和華在火焰中對你們說話，你們只聽見祂的聲音，卻看不見祂的形像。祂向你們宣告祂的約，就是祂吩咐你們遵守的十誡，並寫在兩塊石版上。

耶和華的聲音迴盪在海上，榮耀的上帝打雷，在洪濤之上打雷。耶和華的聲音充滿能力；耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。耶和華的聲音震斷香柏樹，耶和華劈碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹，使黎巴嫩山跳躍如小牛，西連山跳躍如野牛。耶和華的聲音攜閃電而來，震動曠野，震動加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音擊倒橡樹，使樹木凋零。眾人在祂殿中高呼：「榮耀歸於耶和華！」

雲層倒出雨水，天上雷霆霹靂，電光四射。

他大喊的時候，聲如獅吼，之後有七聲雷鳴。我正要將雷鳴的意思記錄下來，就聽見天上有聲音說：「你要封住七聲雷鳴所說的事，別寫下來。」

你們並非來到那座摸得到、有火焰、烏雲、黑暗、狂風、號角聲和說話聲的西奈山，聽見這些聲音的人都哀求不要再向他們說話了。

他又領我到外院，巡察外院的四個角落。我看見院中每個角落都有一個小庭院，

歌頌凌駕在萬古穹蒼之上的主。聽啊，祂聲如雷鳴。

父啊！願你使自己的名得榮耀！」當時天上有聲音說：「我已使自己的名得了榮耀，並且還要得榮耀。」站在那裡的人群中有人聽見就說：「打雷了！」也有人說：「是天使在跟祂說話。」
