And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem,[ and] of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.

然后对这地方的人说，‘关于耶路撒冷和以色列的居民，主耶和华这样说，他们必焦虑不安地吃饭，惶恐不已地喝水，他们的土地必因其中居民的暴行而荒无人烟。

你要对这地的人民说：‘论到耶路撒冷的居民和以色列地，主耶和华这样说：他们要满心忧虑地吃他们的饭，十分惊惶地喝他们的水；因为所有居民的强暴，这地必全然荒凉。

你要對這地的百姓說：主耶和華論耶路撒冷和以色列地的居民如此說，他們吃飯必憂慮，喝水必驚惶。因其中居住的眾人所行強暴的事，這地必然荒廢，一無所存。

你要對這地的人民說：‘論到耶路撒冷的居民和以色列地，主耶和華這樣說：他們要滿心憂慮地吃他們的飯，十分驚惶地喝他們的水；因為所有居民的強暴，這地必全然荒涼。

你要對這地的平民說：主永恆主論以色列地耶路撒冷的居民、是這麼說的：他們必懷着掛慮的心情喫他們的飯，必驚慌慌地喝他們的水；因其中居住的眾人所行強暴的事、這地必荒涼、失掉其豐滿。

告斯土之民曰、主耶和華論耶路撒冷居民、及以色列地云、彼必憂懼食餅、驚駭飲水、斯土荒蕪、失其所有、因居民強暴故也、

告斯土之民曰、主耶和華言、耶路撒冷邑、及以色列居民、虐遇斯眾、致地荒蕪、食餅飲水、不敢少過、中心危懼、

告斯地之民曰、主天主論耶路撒冷、及以色列地之居民如是云、彼食餅必憂慮、飲水必驚惶、因斯地之居民、皆行強暴、故地必荒蕪、一無所留、

Say to the people of the land:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says about those living in Jerusalem and in the land of Israel: They will eat their food in anxiety and drink their water in despair, for their land will be stripped of everything in it because of the violence of all who live there.

Speak to the people of the land. Say to them,‘ Here is what the Lord and King says. He says this about those who live in Jerusalem and Israel.“ They will be worried as they eat their food. They will not have any hope as they drink their water. Their land will be stripped of everything in it because all those who live there are harming one another.

And say to the people of the land, Thus says the Lord God concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with anxiety, and drink water in dismay. In this way her land will be stripped of all it contains, on account of the violence of all those who dwell in it.

Tell the people,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says concerning those living in Israel and Jerusalem: They will eat their food with trembling and sip their water in despair, for their land will be stripped bare because of their violence.

Then say to the people of the land,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says about the residents of Jerusalem in the land of Israel: They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water in dread, for their land will be stripped of everything in it because of the violence of all who live there.

Then say to the people of the land,‘ This is what the Lord God says concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel:“ They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water with horror, because their land will be stripped of its fullness on account of the violence of all who live in it.

And say to the people of the land,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the land of Israel:“ They shall eat their bread with anxiety, and drink their water with dread, so that her land may be emptied of all who are in it, because of the violence of all those who dwell in it.

and say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and despoiled of all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.

Then say to the people of the land: This is what the Lord God says about the residents of Jerusalem in the land of Israel: They will eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water in dread, for their land will be stripped of everything in it because of the violence of all who live there.

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.

Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate,[ and] a den of dragons.

The earth[ is] the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth[ is] the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say[ shall be] desolate without man and without beast,[ even] in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,

A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say,[ Is] not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed[ as] a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.

For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:

Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made[ you] desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and[ are] an infamy of the people:

Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

As a fountain casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness: violence and spoil is heard in her; before me continually[ is] grief and wounds.

For the earth[ is] the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:

For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through[ them]; neither can[ men] hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.And I will make Jerusalem heaps,[ and] a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing[ their] flocks to lie down.

To make their land desolate,[ and] a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman[ was] there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.And as she was going to fetch[ it], he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.And she said,[ As] the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I[ am] gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
