關乎耶和華他們說了虛謊的話：「他不會的，災禍必不臨到我們，我們也不會遇見刀劍和饑荒。先知不過是一陣風，道也不在他們裏面；這災禍必臨到他們身上。」

第一要緊的，你們要知道，在末世必有好譏誚的人隨從自己的私慾出來譏誚，說：「他要來臨的應許在哪裏呢？因為從列祖長眠以來，萬物與起初創造的時候仍是一樣啊！」

他們說：「任以色列的聖者急速前行，快快成就他的作為，好讓我們看看；任他的籌算臨近成就，好使我們知道。」

無論是這百姓、是先知、是祭司，問你說：「耶和華有甚麼默示呢？」你就對他們說：「甚麼默示啊？我已撇棄你們了。這是耶和華說的。」凡說「耶和華的默示」的，無論是先知、是祭司、是百姓，我必懲罰那人和他的家。你們各人要對鄰舍、對弟兄如此說：「耶和華回答了甚麼？耶和華說了甚麼呢？」你們不可再提「耶和華的默示」，因為各人所說的話必成為自己的重擔；你們錯用了永生神、萬軍之耶和華－我們神的話。你們要對先知如此說：「耶和華回答了你甚麼？耶和華說了甚麼呢？」你們若說「耶和華的默示」，耶和華就必如此說：「我曾差人到你們那裏去，告訴你們不可說『耶和華的默示』這幾個字，你們卻說『耶和華的默示』；所以，看哪，我必忘記你們，將你們和我所賜給你們並你們祖先的城都撇棄了；又必使永遠的凌辱和長久的羞恥臨到你們，是不能忘記的。」

「看哪，凡說俗語的必用這俗語攻擊你，說：『有其母必有其女。』
