You also took the fine jewelry I gave you, the jewelry made of my gold and silver, and you made for yourself male idols and engaged in prostitution with them.

I had given you fine jewelry. It was made out of gold and silver. You used it to make for yourself statues of male gods. You worshiped those gods. You were not faithful to me.

他们要把银子抛弃在街上，看金子如污秽之物。正当耶和华发怒的日子，金银不能拯救他们，不能满足食欲，也不能使肚腹饱满，反倒成了自己罪孽的绊脚石。他们用所夸耀华美的妆饰制造可憎可厌的偶像，所以我使他们看它如污秽之物。

我用首饰打扮你：我把手镯戴在你手上，项链在你颈上，

阿荷利巴又加增淫行，她看见墙上刻有人像，就是鲜红色的迦勒底人雕刻的像。它们腰间系着带子，头上有飘扬的裹头巾，都是将军的样子，巴比伦人的形像；迦勒底是他们的出生地。阿荷利巴一看见就恋慕他们，派遣使者往迦勒底他们那里去。巴比伦人来到她那里，上了她爱情的床，与她行淫污辱她。她被污辱，随后她的心却与他们生疏。这样，她既暴露淫行，暴露下体；我的心就与她生疏，像先前与她的姊姊生疏一样。她仍继续增添淫行，追念她年轻时在埃及地行淫的日子，恋慕情人的身壮精足，如驴似马。这样，你就渴望年轻时的淫荡；那时，埃及人因你年轻时的胸怀，抚弄你的乳房。”

以色列是茂盛的葡萄树，结果繁多。果子越多，就越增添祭坛；土地越肥美，就越建造美丽的柱像。

因以色列轻忽了她的淫乱，与石头和木头行奸淫，她和这地就都污秽了。

我要惩罚她素日给诸巴力烧香的罪；那时她佩戴耳环和珠宝，跟随她所爱的，却忘记我。这是耶和华说的。

没有一个心里醒悟，有知识，有聪明，能说：“我曾拿一部分用火燃烧，在炭火上烤饼，也烤肉来吃。这剩下的，我岂要做可憎之像吗？我岂可向木头叩拜呢？”他以灰尘为食，心里迷糊，以致偏邪，不能自救，也不能说：“我右手中岂不是有虚谎吗？”

你在高而又高的山上安设床铺，上那里去献祭。你在门后，在门框后，立起你的牌来；你离弃了我，赤露己身，又爬上自己所铺宽阔的床铺，与它们立约；你喜爱它们的床，看着它们的赤体。
