All the trees of the forest will know that I the Lord bring down the tall tree and make the low tree grow tall. I dry up the green tree and make the dry tree flourish.“‘ I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.’”

All the trees in the forest will know that I bring down tall trees. I make short trees grow tall. I dry up green trees. And I make dry trees green.”“‘ I have spoken. I will do this. I am the Lord.’ ”

And all the trees of the field shall know that I am the Lord; I bring low the high tree, and make high the low tree, dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree flourish. I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.”

And all the trees will know that it is I, the Lord, who cuts the tall tree down and makes the short tree grow tall. It is I who makes the green tree wither and gives the dead tree new life. I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do what I said!”

到了我懲治你的日子，你的心還能受得住嗎？你的手還有力嗎？我耶和華說了，就必實行。

“到那日，我必豎立大衛倒塌的帳棚，修補它們的破口；我必重建它的廢墟，使它像往日一樣建立起來。

我耶和華已經說了。時候到了，我必成就；我必不退縮，必不顧惜，也不改變心意；我必照著你的所作所為審判你。這是主耶和華的宣告。’”

你卻惱怒你的受膏者，丟掉棄絕他。

耶和華使人貧窮，也使人富足；使人降卑，也使人升高。他從灰塵中抬舉貧寒的人，從糞堆中提拔窮乏的人，使他們與顯貴同坐，承受尊貴的座位。大地的柱子屬於耶和華，他把全地安放在柱子上面。

他使有權能的失位，叫卑微的升高，讓飢餓的得飽美食，使富足的空手回去。

高升不是從東面來，不是從西面來，也不是曠野來，而是由神來決定；他使這人降卑，使那人升高。

觀看所有驕傲的人，把他制伏，把惡人踐踏在他們的地方，

天地都過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

因為有一個嬰孩為我們而生，有一個兒子賜給我們；政權必擔在他的肩頭上；他的名必稱為“奇妙的策士、全能的神、永恆的父、和平的君”。他的政權與平安必無窮無盡地增加，他在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平和公義使國堅立穩固，從現在直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成全這事。

他使那些驕傲的降卑，使那些高聳的城敗落；把它拆毀，散在地上，變作塵土。

從耶西的樹幹必生出一根嫩芽，從他的根而出的枝條必結果子。耶和華的靈必停留在他身上，就是智慧的靈和聰明的靈，謀略的靈和能力的靈，知識的靈和敬畏耶和華的靈。他必以敬畏耶和華為樂。他不憑眼睛所見的施行審判，也不憑耳朵所聽的斷定是非；卻要以公義審判貧窮人，以正直判斷地上的困苦人；以口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裡的氣殺死惡人。公義必作他腰間的帶子，信實必作他脅下的帶子。豺狼必與綿羊羔同住，豹子要與山羊羔同臥，牛犢、幼獅和肥畜必同群；小孩子要牽引牠們。牛必與母熊一同吃食，牛犢必與小熊一起躺臥；獅子就像牛一般吃草。吃奶的嬰兒必在虺蛇的洞口玩耍，斷奶的孩子必放他的手在毒蛇的穴上。在我整個聖山上面，這一切都不行傷害或毀滅之事；因為認識耶和華的知識要充滿大地，好像海水覆蓋海洋一般。

主耶和華這樣說：‘你當除去頭巾，脫下冠冕！現在情形不同了，卑微的要升高，位高的要降卑！

你們必歡歡喜喜出來，平平安安蒙引導；大山小山都必在你們面前發聲歡呼，田野所有的樹木也都拍掌。松樹要長起來代替荊棘，番石榴要長起來代替蒺藜。這要為耶和華留名，作永遠不能廢掉的記號。”

又要攻擊黎巴嫩所有高大的香柏樹，和巴珊所有的橡樹。又攻擊所有的高山，和所有的峻嶺；

天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

願天歡喜，願地快樂；願海和海中充滿的，都翻騰響鬧；願田野和其中的一切都歡樂，那時林中的一切樹木都必歡呼。

把低微的安置在高位，把哀慟的高舉於安穩之處；

他要作王統治雅各家，直到永遠，他的國沒有窮盡。”

我耶和華所說的，是我要說的話，我所說的必定成就，不再耽延。叛逆的民族啊！我所說的話必在你們還活著的日子成就。這是主耶和華的宣告。”

你減少了他青春的日子，使他披上恥辱。（細拉）

但是神卻揀選了世上愚笨的，使那些有智慧的羞愧。他也揀選了世上軟弱的，使那些剛強的羞愧。他也揀選了世上卑賤的和被人輕視的，以及算不得甚麼的，為了要廢棄那些自以為是的，
