常在庙宇吃祭偶像之物，玷污别人的妻子，

（虽然他父亲并没有作这样的事）：他在山上吃祭肉，又玷污邻舍的妻子；

而那些善事他卻不行，因為他也在山上喫了祭偶像之物，他鄰舍的妻他也玷污了；

不行上所言之善、食於山、污其鄰之妻、

( though the father has done none of them):“ He eats at the mountain shrines. He defiles his neighbor’s wife.

Suppose he does these things even though his father never did.“ Suppose the son eats at the mountain temples. And he sleeps with another man’s wife.

( though he himself did none of these things), who even eats upon the mountains, defiles his neighbor’s wife,

And that son does all the evil things his father would never do— he worships idols on the mountains, commits adultery,

though the father has done none of them. Indeed, when the son eats at the mountain shrines and defiles his neighbor’s wife,

( though he himself did not do any of these things), that is, he even eats at the mountain shrines, and defiles his neighbor’s wife,

And does none of those duties, But has eaten on the mountains Or defiled his neighbor’s wife;

and that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbor’s wife,

though the father has done none of them. Indeed, when the son eats at the mountain shrines and defiles his neighbor’s wife,

And that doeth not any of those[ duties], but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour’s wife,

( though the father did not do any of them). He eats pagan sacrifices on the mountains, defiles his neighbor’s wife,

or who does not do any of those things, but even has eaten at the mountain shrines, and defiled his neighbor’s wife,

反倒回来，在耶和华禁止你吃饭喝水的地方吃了饭喝了水，因此你的尸体必不得葬在你祖先的坟墓里。’”

“不是每一个称呼我‘主啊，主啊’的人都能进天国；惟有遵行我天父旨意的人才能进去。在那日必有许多人对我说：‘主啊，主啊，我们不是奉你的名传道，奉你的名赶鬼，奉你的名行许多异能吗？’我要向他们宣告：‘我从来不认识你们，你们这些作恶的人，给我走开！’”“所以，凡听了我这些话又去做的，好比一个聪明人把房子盖在磐石上。风吹，雨打，水冲，撞击那房子，房子总不倒塌，因为根基立在磐石上。凡听了我这些话而不去做的，好比一个无知的人把房子盖在沙土上。风吹，雨打，水冲，撞击那房子，房子就倒塌了，并且倒塌得很厉害。”

你们从我所学习的，所领受的，所听见的，所看见的事，你们都要继续去做，赐平安的神就必与你们同在。

神人对王说：“你就是把你一半的王宫给我，我也不跟你进去，也不在这地方吃饭喝水，

那些洗净自己衣服的有福了！他们可得权柄到生命树那里，也能从门进城。

我们一切所求的，就从他得着，因为我们遵守他的命令，行他所喜悦的事。

他未曾在山上吃祭物，未曾向以色列家的偶像举目，未曾污辱邻舍的妻；

你们若遵行我所命令的，就是我的朋友。

未曾在山上吃祭物，未曾向以色列家的偶像举目；未曾污辱邻舍的妻，也未曾在妇人的经期间亲近她；未曾亏负人，而是将欠债之人的抵押品还给他；未曾抢夺人的物件，却把食物给饥饿的人吃，把衣服给赤身的人穿；

你们既知道这些事，若是去实行就有福了。

耶稣却说：“更有福的是听神的道而遵守的人！”

信心也是这样，若没有行为是死的。
