不挾制貧乏、不取利、不迫索、遵我禮儀、守我法度、若此者、不可因父之罪並加誅殛、必全其生命。

He withholds his hand from mistreating the poor and takes no interest or profit from them. He keeps my laws and follows my decrees. He will not die for his father’s sin; he will surely live.

He keeps himself from committing sins. He does not charge interest when he lends money to poor people. He does not make money from them. He keeps my laws and obeys my rules. He will not die because of his father’s sin. You can be sure he will live.

貸人金、不索利、不取息、禁手勿行不義、鞫二人之事、惟循真實、遵我律例、守我法度、以誠實而行、斯為義人、必保其生命、必保其生命或作必得生存此乃主天主所言、

爾曹猶問曰、子何不負父之罪耶、但子為義行善、謹守遵行我諸律例、自得生存、惟犯罪之人必死、子不負父罪、父不負子罪、善人之善歸己、惡人之惡歸已、如惡人悛改所作之罪、守我律例、為義行善、必生不死、

因其忖思悛改所作之罪愆、必生存不死、

萬有之主曰、自爾列祖之日以來、爾棄我律例而不守之、今當歸誠於我、則我必復眷顧爾、則我必復眷顧爾原文作則我必歸於爾爾曰、如何方為歸誠、

其僕之主憐而釋之、且免其債、其僕出、遇一同僕、負己銀一百第拿流、猶太小銀圓約銀一錢執之扼其喉曰、爾所負者、即償我、同僚俯伏求曰、請寛我、我必盡償、不允、乃下之於獄、待償所負、諸同僚見所為、甚不悅、以其事往告主人、其僕之主召之曰、惡哉僕乎、爾所負者、我盡免之、因爾求我也、爾不當憐同僚如我憐爾乎、其主人遂怒、付之獄吏、待其盡償所負、若爾各人不誠心赦兄弟之過、則我在天之父、待爾亦如是、

故爾以西結當告以色列族曰、主天主如是云、以色列族歟、爾循列祖之道、自染污穢、從其可憎之偶像、焚子於火、焚子於火原文作使子過火獻祭於偶像、自染污穢、至於今日、猶望我應爾乎、主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、必不應爾、

我為貧者之父、素不識者、我為之伸冤抑、

必謹守我所命爾當守者、在爾以前之人可憎之惡俗、毋習染自污、我乃主爾之天主、

爾則告之曰、主云、因爾列祖違棄我、從他神、奉事崇拜、棄我不守我法、爾行惡較祖尤甚、各縱惡慾、剛愎自用、不願聽我、故我驅逐爾出斯地、至爾與爾祖所未識之地、爾在彼、晝夜服事他神、我不向爾施矜恤、

義者知為貧者伸冤、惡人置若罔聞、

彼為窮苦貧乏者伸冤、始能增福、識我亦在乎此、此乃主所言、

必遵我法度、守我律例、循之而行、我乃主爾之天主、

我言善人必生、如彼自恃其善而行惡、則其諸善不復記憶、必因所作之惡死亡、

禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾建先知之墳、飾義人之墓、又曰、若我在我祖時、必不與謀流先知之血、是爾自證爾為殺先知者之裔、盍盈爾祖之量歟、蛇乎、蝮所產乎、爾何能逃磯很拿之刑乎、

先知曰、主歟、主賜我以力、護我如鞏固之城、我遇難之日、就主蒙庇、異邦人自地極而來、歸誠於主、曰、我祖所承受於古、皆浮偽虛無、毫無裨益、

故請王容我諫勸、王當行義以贖罪、矜恤貧乏以贖愆、庶幾恆久綏安、

故爾曹無論土著、及寄居爾中之外邦客旅、皆當遵守我之律例法度、毋行此可憎之事、

貸人金、索利取息、此人能生乎、必不能生、既行此一切可憎之事、固必死亡、死罪歸之、

反所受之質、償所奪之物、遵行生命之律例、不復行惡、則必生存不死、素所犯之諸罪、不復記憶、彼既為義行善、必得生存、

欺壓貧人者、即侮造之之主、尊主者必矜憫窮民、
