保护你右手所栽的根，你为自己所坚固的幼苗。这树已经被火焚烧，被刀砍伐，因你脸上的怒容就灭亡了。

它长出坚固的枝干，可作统治者的权杖。这枝干高举在茂密的树枝中，可见树身高大，枝子繁多。

你当为以色列的领袖们唱哀歌，

邪恶如火焚烧，吞灭荆棘和蒺藜，在稠密的树林中点燃，成为烟柱，旋转上腾。因万军之耶和华的烈怒，地都烧遍了；百姓成为柴火，无人怜惜弟兄。

我非常忧愁，心里时常伤痛。为我弟兄，我骨肉之亲，就是自己被诅咒，与基督分离，我也愿意。他们是以色列人，那儿子的名分、荣耀、诸约、律法的颁布、敬拜的礼仪、应许都是给他们的。

因为以色列人必多日过着无君王，无领袖，无祭祀，无柱像，无以弗得，无家中神像的生活。

尼布甲尼撒王曾叫他指着神起誓，他却背叛，硬着颈项，内心顽固，不归向耶和华—以色列的神。

你这亵渎行恶的以色列王啊，你的日子，最后惩罚的时刻已来临。主耶和华如此说：当除掉荣冕，摘下华冠，景况已不复从前；要使卑者升为高，使高者降为卑。我要将这国倾覆，倾覆，再倾覆；这国必不存在，直等到那应得的人来到，我就将国赐给他。”

耶和华的受膏者是我们鼻中的气，被抓到他们的坑里，论到他，我们曾说：“我们必在他荫下，在列国中存活。”

荆棘对众树说：‘你们若真的要膏我作王治理你们，就要来到我的荫下寻求庇护；不然，愿火从荆棘里出来，吞灭黎巴嫩的香柏树。’

他们就喊着：“除掉他！除掉他！把他钉十字架！”彼拉多对他们说：“要我把你们的王钉十字架吗？”祭司长回答：“除了凯撒，我们没有王。”

现在他们要说：“我们没有王；因为我们不敬畏耶和华，王又能为我们做什么呢？”

“人必将你的后妃和你的儿女带到迦勒底人那里；你也不得脱离他们的手，必被巴比伦王的手捉住，这城也必被火焚烧。”

权杖必不离犹大，统治者的杖必不离他两脚之间，直等细罗来到，万民都要归顺他。

耶稣快到耶路撒冷，看见那城，就为它哀哭，

因此，耶和华向耶路撒冷和犹大发怒，以致把他们从自己面前赶出去。西底家背叛巴比伦王，

他轻看誓言，背弃盟约，看哪，虽已投降，却又做这一切的事，他必不能逃脱。所以主耶和华如此说：我指着我的永生起誓，他既轻看我的誓言，背弃我的约，我必使这罪归到他头上。我要把我的网撒在他身上，他就被我的罗网缠住。我要带他到巴比伦，在那里因他背叛我的罪惩罚他。

因为他们吞了雅各，将他的住处变为废墟。

“在那日，我必重建大卫倒塌的帐幕，修补其中的缺口；我必建立那遭破坏的，重新修造，如古时一般，

你要对尼革夫的树林说，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华如此说：看哪，我要在你那里点火，烧灭你们中间所有的绿树和枯树，猛烈的火焰必不熄灭；从南到北，人的脸都被烧焦。

看哪，它已经抛在火中当柴烧，火既烧了两头，中间也烧焦了，它还有什么用处呢？

这地许多的出产都归了诸王，就是你因我们的罪派来辖制我们的。他们任意辖制我们的身体和牲畜，我们遭了大难。’”
