我在旷野也曾经向他们举手起誓，必不领他们到我赐给他们的流奶与蜜之地，就是万邦中最荣美的地。

並且我在曠野向他們起誓，必不領他們進入我所賜給他們流奶與蜜之地（那地在萬國中是有榮耀的）；

我在曠野曾向他們發誓，不帶他們進入我賜給他們的那奶蜜之鄉，那世上最佳美的地方，

我在曠野也曾經向他們舉手起誓，必不領他們到我賜給他們的流奶與蜜之地，就是萬邦中最榮美的地。

我並且我在曠野也曾向他們舉手起了誓、必不領他們進我所賜給他們、流奶與蜜之地，就是在列邦中最華美的；

我復在野發誓、必不導之入我所賜流乳與蜜之地、即諸地之美者、

彼尚在曠野、我誓不導之入產乳與蜜之地、斯地列國所羨美。

我亦在曠野為之發誓、必不導之入我所賜之之地、即流乳與蜜之地、其地在列國中最佳美、

Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land I had given them— a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands—

I also raised my hand and made a promise in the desert. I told my people I would not bring them into the land I had given them. It had plenty of milk and honey. It was the most beautiful land of all.

Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most glorious of all lands,

「耶和華聽見你們的怨言，就發怒，起誓說：『這邪惡世代的人，一個也不得看見我起誓要賜給你們列祖的美地；

他們絕不能看見我向他們祖宗所起誓應許之地；凡藐視我的，一個也不得看見。惟獨我的僕人迦勒，因他另有一個心志，專心跟從我，我要領他進入他所去過的那地；他的後裔必得那地為業。亞瑪力人和迦南人住在谷中，明天你們要轉回去，沿着紅海的路往曠野去。」耶和華對摩西和亞倫說：「這邪惡的會眾向我發怨言要到幾時呢？以色列人向我發的怨言，我都聽見了。你要告訴他們，耶和華說：『我指着我的永生起誓，我必照你們在我耳中所說的待你們。你們的屍體必倒在這曠野中。你們中間被數點，凡二十歲以上向我發怨言的，必不得進我所起誓應許給你們居住的那地。惟有耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞才能進去。

這些被數的人中，沒有一個是摩西和亞倫祭司先前在西奈曠野所數的以色列人，因為耶和華論到他們說：「他們必死在曠野。」所以，除了耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞以外，他們一個也沒有存留。

並且我在曠野向他們起誓，要把他們驅散到列國，分散在列邦；

但我們已經信的人進入安息，正如神所說：「我在怒中起誓：他們斷不可進入我的安息！」其實造物之工，從創世以來已經完成了。

他向誰起誓，不容他們進入他的安息呢？豈不是向那些不信從的人嗎？
