人子、爾當號咷哀哭、因其事事或作刃臨及我民、臨及以色列諸侯伯、彼與我民俱為刃所殺、故當搥股浩嘆、

Cry out and wail, son of man, for it is against my people; it is against all the princes of Israel. They are thrown to the sword along with my people. Therefore beat your breast.

Son of man, cry out and weep. The sword is against my people. It is against all the princes of Israel. It will kill them along with the rest of my people. So beat your chest in sorrow.

“ Son of man, cry out and wail; pound your thighs in anguish, for that sword will slaughter my people and their leaders— everyone will die!

Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it[ shall be] upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon[ thy] thigh.

人子啊！至於你，你要歎息，在他們眼前彎著腰，苦苦歎息。

祭司啊！你們要腰束麻布，並且痛哭。在祭壇侍候的啊！你們要哀號。事奉我的神的啊！你們披上麻布進去過夜吧，因為素祭和奠祭，都從你們的神的殿中止息了。

他們殺戮的時候，只留下我一個人，我就臉伏在地，呼叫說：“哎，主耶和華啊！難道你要向耶路撒冷傾倒你的烈怒，使所有以色列餘剩的人都滅絕麼？”

我回轉以後，就深深悔悟；我醒覺以後，就拍腿悔恨。因為我承受年幼時的恥辱，我感到羞恥和慚愧。’

牧人啊，你們要哀號，呼叫！羊群的領袖啊，你們要在灰塵中打滾！因為你們被宰殺的日子已經到了；我要粉碎你們，你們要跌倒，像珍貴的器皿跌碎一樣。

他們必來到錫安的高處歡呼；他們必容光煥發，因為耶和華賜他們各樣的美物，就是五穀、新酒和油，還有羊羔和牛犢。他們必像有水灌溉的園子，永不再枯乾。

“人子啊！至於你，你要拍手說預言，要接二連三地使用這殺人的刀，就是導致極大死傷的刀，把它們圍困，

主耶和華這樣說：“你要拍手頓足，說：‘哀哉！因以色列家一切可憎的惡事，他們必倒在刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫之下。’

為此我要痛哭哀號，赤膊光腳而行；又要哀號如豺狼，悲鳴像鴕鳥。

“人子啊！你要說預言：‘主耶和華這樣說：你們要哀號：那一天有禍了！
