『因此人子啊，你要傳神言；拍掌講話：要再次再三地使這刀，就是刺人致死的刀，刺死大人物的刀，就是在他們四圍的，

“人子啊，你要拍掌预言。我耶和华要使这刀，就是致死伤的刀，一连三次加倍刺人，进入他们的内屋，使大人受死伤的就是这刀。

“人子啊，你要拍掌预言，使这刀三番两次临到；这是致人死伤的刀，就是包围人，使人大受死伤的刀。

“人子啊，你要拍掌预言，使这刀三番两次临到；这是致人死伤的刀，就是包围人，使人大受死伤的刀。

“人子啊，你要拍掌对他们说预言，你要拿刀挥舞两三次，预示这刀要从四面八方大肆杀戮，

“人子啊！至于你，你要拍手说预言，要接二连三地使用这杀人的刀，就是导致极大死伤的刀，把它们围困，

「人子啊，你要拍掌預言。我－耶和華要使這刀，就是致死傷的刀，一連三次加倍刺人，進入他們的內屋，使大人受死傷的就是這刀。

「人子啊，你要拍掌預言，使這刀三番兩次臨到；這是致人死傷的刀，就是包圍人，使人大受死傷的刀。

「人子啊，你要拍掌預言，使這刀三番兩次臨到；這是致人死傷的刀，就是包圍人，使人大受死傷的刀。

「人子啊，你要拍掌對他們說預言，你要拿刀揮舞兩三次，預示這刀要從四面八方大肆殺戮，

“人子啊！至於你，你要拍手說預言，要接二連三地使用這殺人的刀，就是導致極大死傷的刀，把它們圍困，

人子歟、爾其預言而鼓掌、使刃再三行戮、此刃即重傷大人、入諸密室者、

惟爾人子、當鼓爾掌、言未來事、使刃三至、殺戮人民、入諸密室、誅滅大人。

惟爾人子、當鼓掌言未來事、言未來事或作述預言下同使刃至再至三、此刃殺戮多民、入其密室、誅滅大人、使刃至再至三此刃殺戮多民入其密室誅滅大人或作此刃必再三行殺戮此乃殺戮多人之刃此乃殺戮大人之刃必入其密室

“ So then, son of man, prophesy and strike your hands together. Let the sword strike twice, even three times. It is a sword for slaughter— a sword for great slaughter, closing in on them from every side.

“ Son of man, prophesy. Clap your hands. Let the sword strike twice. Let it strike even three times. It is a sword to kill people. It is a sword to kill many people. It is closing in on them from every side.

“ As for you, son of man, prophesy. Clap your hands and let the sword come down twice, yes, three times, the sword for those to be slain. It is the sword for the great slaughter, which surrounds them,

“ Son of man, prophesy to them and clap your hands. Then take the sword and brandish it twice, even three times, to symbolize the great massacre, the great massacre facing them on every side.

“ So you, son of man, prophesy and clap your hands together: Let the sword strike two times, even three. It is a sword for massacre, a sword for great massacre— it surrounds them!

“ You therefore, son of man, prophesy and clap your hands; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword for the slain. It is the sword for the great one slain, which surrounds them,

“ You therefore, son of man, prophesy, And strike your hands together. The third time let the sword do double damage. It is the sword that slays, The sword that slays the great men, That enters their private chambers.

Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thy hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the deadly wounded: it is the sword of the great one that is deadly wounded, which entereth into their chambers.

Therefore, son of man, prophesy and clap your hands together. Let the sword strike two times, even three. It is a sword for massacre, a sword for great massacre— it surrounds them!

巴勒向巴蘭發怒，就拍起掌來；對巴蘭說：『我請你來咒詛我的仇敵；你看，你竟全給他們祝福了這三次呢。

當約雅敬在位的日子、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上來，約雅敬臣服了他三年；然後掉轉背叛他。

那時巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上耶路撒冷來，耶路撒冷城就被圍困。巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒親自來攻那城，他的臣僕繼續將城圍困。猶大王約雅斤出來投降巴比倫王，他和他母親、臣僕、大臣和內侍都出來；巴比倫王便拿住他，那是巴比倫王在位第八年。巴比倫王將永恆主之殿的一切寶物和王宮的寶物都從那裏取出來，又把以色列王所羅門在永恆主殿堂所造的一切金器都砍壞了，正如永恆主所說過的。他又使耶路撒冷眾人、眾大臣、和一切有力氣英勇的人、共一萬名、連一切匠人、鐵匠、都去過着流亡的生活；除了國中之民極貧寒的以外、沒有剩下的。他使約雅斤流亡到巴比倫去；也使王母王妃和王的內侍、以及國中的權貴、都從耶路撒冷流亡到巴比倫。一切有力氣的人、七千名、和匠人鐵匠一千人、這一切能作戰的勇士、巴比倫王都使他們流亡到巴比倫去。

主永恆主這麼說：『你要拍掌頓腳說哈哈，高興以色列家行這一切可憎之壞事所要遭受的報應，就是他們必倒斃於刀劍饑荒和瘟疫之下。

那麼我、行事也就跟你們作對。我要因你們的罪擊打你們七倍；

『你們行事若跟我作對，不情願聽從我，我就要按你們的罪加七倍疫災給你們。

米該雅說：『看吧，你進一間儘內屋去藏匿那一天就必看見。』

我，我也要拍掌講話，並且平息我的烈怒：我永恆主說了。』

他對我說：『人子啊，以色列家的長老各在自己鏨像的屋裏暗中所行的、你看見了沒有？他們常說：「永恆主看不見我們；永恆主已經離棄了這地了。」』

『即使他們挖到了陰間，就是從那裏、我的手也必把他們捉出來；即使他們爬上天去，就是從那裏、我也必將他們拿下來。

那時尼布甲尼撒烈怒氣填胸，向沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌變了臉色，應時吩咐人把窰燒熱，比平常的、熱七倍。

他作王的第九年、十月十日、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒來了，他和他的全軍來攻耶路撒冷，紮營攻城，四圍築壘來攻打。於是那城被圍困、直到西底家王十一年。四月九日、城裏大鬧饑荒，甚至當地的人民都沒有糧食。城被攻破，王和所有的戰士就在夜間從靠近王家園子兩城牆中間的門那路向出城逃跑；那時迦勒底人正在四圍攻城；他們就按亞拉巴路向走。迦勒底人的軍隊追趕了王，在耶利哥原野追上了他；他的全軍都離開他潰散了。迦勒底人將王捉住，把他帶上去到利比拉巴比倫王那裏，就宣佈判語來定他的罪。又在西底家眼前將他兒子們都宰殺掉，並將西底家一對眼睛都弄瞎了，然後用銅鍊鎖着他，帶到巴比倫去。

其餘的逃到亞弗城內；剩下的二萬七千人、城牆塌陷在他們身上了。便哈達也逃跑；進了城裏一間儘內屋。
