I will pour out my wrath on you and breathe out my fiery anger against you; I will deliver you into the hands of brutal men, men skilled in destruction.

I will pour out my anger on you. I will breathe out my burning anger against you. I will hand you over to mean people. They are skilled at destroying others.

And I will pour out my indignation upon you; I will blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and I will deliver you into the hands of brutish men, skillful to destroy.

I will pour out my fury on you and blow on you with the fire of my anger. I will hand you over to cruel men who are skilled in destruction.

你们盼望多得，看哪，所得的却少；你们收到家中，我就吹去。这是为什么呢？因为我的殿荒凉，你们各人却只为自己的房屋奔走。这是万军之耶和华说的。

原来陀斐特早已预备好了，是为君王预备的；又深又宽，堆满了火和木柴；耶和华的气息犹如一股硫磺使它燃起。

耶和华如此说：“看哪，有一民族从北方而来；有一大国被激起，从地极来到。他们拿弓和枪，性情残忍，不施怜悯；他们的声音如海浪澎湃。锡安哪，他们都骑马，如上战场的人摆阵攻击你。”

有狮子从密林中上来，是毁坏列国的。它已动身出离本处，要使你的地荒凉，使你的城镇变为废墟，无人居住。

或者我叫瘟疫流行那地，把我的愤怒带着血倾在其中，好使人与牲畜从其中剪除；

耶和华啊，你的斥责一发，你鼻孔的气一出，海底就显现，大地的根基也暴露。

他发愤恨，谁能立得住呢？他发烈怒，谁能当得起呢？他的愤怒如火倾泄而出，磐石因他崩裂。

你是我争战的斧子和打仗的兵器。我要用你打碎列邦，毁灭列国；用你打碎马和骑马的，打碎战车和坐在其上的；用你打碎男人和女人，打碎老人和少年，打碎壮丁和少女；用你打碎牧人和他的羊群，打碎农夫和他的一对耕牛，打碎省长和官员。

看哪，因为我必惊动他的心，他要听见风声就归回本地，在那里我必使他倒在刀下。’”

人怎样把银、铜、铁、铅、锡聚在炉中，吹火使它熔化；照样，我也要在我的怒气和愤怒中聚集你们，把你们安置在城中，使你们熔化。我必聚集你们，把我烈怒的火吹在你们身上，你们就在其中熔化。银子怎样在炉中熔化，你们也必照样在城中熔化，因此就知道是我—耶和华把愤怒倾倒在你们身上。”

看哪，我必兴起迦勒底人，就是那残忍暴躁之民，通行遍地，霸占不属自己的住处。他威武可畏，审判与威权都由他而出。他的马比豹更快，比晚上的野狼更猛。他的战马跳跃，他的战马从远方而来；他们飞跑，如鹰急速抓食，都为施行残暴而来，他们的脸面向东，聚集俘虏，多如尘沙。他讥诮列王，嘲讽领袖，嗤笑一切堡垒，堆土攻取它。

你必唱这诗歌嘲讽巴比伦王说：“欺压人的竟然灭亡！他的凶暴竟然止息！耶和华折断恶人的杖，打断统治者的权杖；他们在愤怒中连连攻击万民，在怒气中辖制列国，逼迫他们，毫不留情。

耶和华吹一口气，草就枯干，花也凋谢。百姓诚然是草；
