我既要將義人和惡人都從你那裏剪除掉，那麼我的刀就要出鞘，將南地到北方去攻擊血肉之人；

我既要从你中间剪除义人和恶人，所以我的刀要出鞘，自南至北攻击一切有血气的；

因为我要剪除你当中的义人和恶人，所以我的刀要出鞘，从南到北攻击所有的血肉之躯；

Because I am going to cut off the righteous and the wicked, my sword will be unsheathed against everyone from south to north.

Because I will cut off from you both righteous and wicked, therefore my sword shall be drawn from its sheath against all flesh from south to north.

對南地的森林說：你要聽永恆主的話：主永恆主這麼說：我必使火在你中間着起，將你中間一切多汁的樹和枯乾的樹都燒滅掉；炎熱的火燄必不熄滅；從南到北人的臉面都要被燒焦。

『人子啊，主永恆主對以色列地這麼說：結局哦！結局臨到這地的四境了！

主永恆主這麼說：『你要拍掌頓腳說哈哈，高興以色列家行這一切可憎之壞事所要遭受的報應，就是他們必倒斃於刀劍饑荒和瘟疫之下。在遠處的必死於瘟疫，在近處的必倒斃於刀劍之下，那剩下的、得保存的人、必死於饑荒；這樣、我就在他們身上發盡我的烈怒了。他們被刺死的人倒在他們祭壇的四圍、他們的偶像中間，在各高岡各山頂上、各茂盛樹下、各茂密聖篤耨香樹之下，他們獻怡神之香氣給一切偶像的地方；那時他們就知道我乃是永恆主。我必伸手攻擊他們，使他們的地從曠野到利比拉、他們的住處、都荒涼淒慘，他們就知道我乃是永恆主。』
