至於我，我認識以法蓮，以色列不能向我隱藏。以法蓮哪，現在你竟然行淫，以色列竟然被污辱。

在以色列家我看見可憎的事，在以法蓮那裏有淫行，以色列被污辱了。

你要說，主耶和華如此說：那在其中流人血的城啊，它的時刻已到，它製造偶像玷污了自己。你因流了人的血，算為有罪；因所製造的偶像，玷污自己；你使你的日子臨近，你的年數已來到。所以我使你承受列國的凌辱和列邦的譏誚。

這樣，他們被自己所做的玷污了，在行為上犯了淫亂。
