人子、我必使爾所愛之妻、忽焉而亡、爾勿哀哭、勿下淚、

“人子啊，我要将你眼目所喜爱的忽然取去，你却不可悲哀哭泣，也不可流泪，

“人子，看哪，我要以灾病夺取你眼中所喜爱的，你却不可悲哀哭泣，也不可流泪，

“人子啊，我要突然夺去你心爱的人，你不可悲伤，也不可流泪哭泣。

“人子啊！我要打击你，把你眼中所喜爱的夺去，你却不可悲哀，不可哭泣，也不可流泪。

『人子啊，你看吧，我要用暴卒病將你眼目所喜愛的取去；你卻不可號咷哭泣，也不可流淚。

人子歟、爾目所慕者、我必猝然去之、爾勿悲、勿哭、勿下淚、

人子、我必使爾目之所悅者、忽染疫癘而死、爾勿悲哀、勿號哭、勿下淚、

“ Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears.

“ Son of man, I will take away from you the wife you delight in. It will happen very soon. But do not sing songs of sadness. Do not let any tears flow from your eyes.

“ Son of man, behold, I am about to take the delight of your eyes away from you at a stroke; yet you shall not mourn or weep, nor shall your tears run down.

勿為死者哀哭、當為擄者號泣、蓋彼不返國、不復見故土。

如爾志傲不聽、我於暗室、為爾傷心、見耶和華群民被虜、我目潸然出涕。

以西結曰、我朝與民言、而夕妻死、詰朝、我循命而行。

新婦曰、我屬夫子、夫子戀我。

其視妻子也、如麀鹿濯濯之可愛、則享閨房之福矣。

火自耶和華出、燬二人、死於耶和華前。摩西謂亞倫曰、耶和華諭云、近我之祭司、必以我為聖、使民歸榮於我。亞倫默然。

耶和華又曰、我不矜恤斯民、不使平康、故勿入室哭之、亦勿往弔、

郇邑之民、當籲於主、痛哭流涕、無間晝夜、潸然不已兮。

上帝震怒、恐加刑譴、雖多金不能贖、

我欲兄弟知、已死者勿為之憂、效絕望者所為、

使其速至、為我舉哀、使我目擊心傷、淚如泉湧。

願我首為淵、我目為泉、淚出不止、斯民被戮、我為哭泣、無間晝夜。

爾當告以色列家云、主耶和華曰、我之聖所、爾素以為榮、素所欣慕者、余必使之被玷、爾所遺之子女、必亡以刃。以西結所為者、爾必為之、不掩爾口、不食苦餅。不露爾首、不去爾履、不哀不哭、爾之衍尤、日漸消亡、彼此想嚮、而唁其喪。以西結於爾為徵、視其所為、爾必為之、斯事既成、爾必知我乃主耶和華。人子、越至後日民所倚賴、所欣慕之聖所、爰及子女、我必棄之如遺。

耶和華曰、猶大王、約西亞次子約雅金、既死之時、民不舉哀哭泣、曰、哀哉兄弟姊妹乎、惜哉我主、顯榮安在乎。
