當罕譬而喻、以示違逆之家、曰、主耶和華曰、置鼎於火、盛之於水、

當為此悖逆之族設譬喻、告之曰、主天主如是云、當置釜於火、置而傾水其中、

Tell this rebellious people a parable and say to them:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ Put on the cooking pot; put it on and pour water into it.

Your people refuse to obey me. So tell them a story. Say to them,‘ The Lord and King told me,“‘ “Put a cooking pot on the fire. Pour water into it.

And utter a parable to the rebellious house and say to them, Thus says the Lord God:“ Set on the pot, set it on; pour in water also;

Then give these rebels an illustration with this message from the Sovereign Lord:“ Put a pot on the fire, and pour in some water.

Now speak a parable to the rebellious house. Tell them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Put the pot on the fire— put it on, and then pour water into it!

Present a parable to the rebellious house and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Put on the pot, put it on and also pour water into it;

And utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Put on a pot, set it on, And also pour water into it.

And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Set on the caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it:

Now speak a parable to the rebellious house. Tell them: This is what the Lord God says: Put the pot on the fire— put it on, and then pour water into it!

And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set[ it] on, and also pour water into it:

Recite a proverb to this rebellious house and say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ Set on the pot, set it on, pour water in it too;

Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says,“ Put the cauldron on the fire. Put it on, and also pour water into it.

“人子啊，你要向以色列人出谜语，讲比喻，

于是我说：“唉，主耶和华啊，他们在议论我说，‘这人岂不是在说比喻吗？’”

他们说，‘建造房屋的时候不是到了吗？我们的城像铁锅一样坚固，我们像在锅里的肉一样得到保护。’

人子啊，不要怕他们和他们的话，虽然你周围布满荆棘和毒蝎，也不要害怕。他们是一群叛逆的人，你不要怕他们的话，也不要因为他们的脸色而惊慌。

诸天啊，请听！大地啊，要侧耳听！耶和华说：“我把孩子抚育成人，他们竟然背叛我。

“人子啊，我派你去那背叛我的以色列人那里。他们和他们的祖先至今仍背叛我。

主耶和华说：“这像锈锅一样充满血腥的城有祸了！要把肉从这锈迹斑斑的锅中一块块地取出来。

我要开口讲比喻，道出古时的奥秘，

耶和华说：“我悖逆的儿女有祸了！他们不遵行我的旨意，按自己的计划行事；未经我同意，擅自与人结盟，不断犯罪。

“人子啊，你要听我对你说的话，不要像他们那样叛逆，要张开口吃我赐给你的。”

他们是悖逆的民族，是说谎的儿女，不肯听从耶和华的教导。

“你要对这些悖逆的人说，‘你们不明白这比喻的意思吗？’要告诉他们，巴比伦王攻取了耶路撒冷，把其中的君王和大臣掳到巴比伦，

耶稣便说：“上帝国的奥秘只让你们知道，对其他人，我就用比喻，使他们看却看不见，听却听不明白。

耶和华又对我说：“你看见什么？”我回答说：“我看见一锅煮沸的水，从北方倾倒下来。”

“你们这些顽固不化、耳不听心不悔的人，经常抗拒圣灵，所作所为和你们的祖先如出一辙！

说，“‘你的母亲像什么？她就像狮群中的母狮，卧在雄壮的狮子中养育幼狮。她养大一只幼狮，使它成为雄壮的狮子。它学会了捕食吃人。列国的人知道后，便设陷阱捉住它，用钩子拉到埃及。母狮盼着它回来，眼见指望落空，便又养育一头幼狮，使它成为雄壮的狮子。它出入狮群，学会了捕食和吃人。它夷平列国的堡垒，使他们的城邑沦为废墟，遍地都因它的咆哮而震惊。于是，列国便从四面围攻它，设网罗捕捉它。它落入他们的陷阱。他们用钩子钩住它，关进笼里，解送到巴比伦王那里囚禁起来。于是，在以色列的山岭上再也听不见他的吼声。“‘你母亲像葡萄园中的一棵葡萄树，栽在溪水旁，枝繁叶茂，硕果累累，因为水源充沛。它的枝子粗壮，可作王的杖。它的树干高大，直插云霄，枝叶茂密，远远可见。但它被愤怒地连根拔起，抛在地上。东风吹干了它的果实，粗壮的枝干折断枯干，被火焚烧。现在，它被栽种在干旱的旷野。但火从枝干蔓延，烧毁了它的果实，没有留下一根粗壮的枝干可作王的杖。’“这是一首哀歌，也必用作哀歌。”

这城必不是你们的锅，你们也必不是其中的肉，我必在全以色列施行审判。

我是耶和华，我的话都必实现，决不迟延。你们这叛逆的人啊，我说的话必在你们有生之年应验！”这是主耶和华说的。

他们听出这比喻是针对他们说的，就想逮捕耶稣，但又害怕百姓，只好先离开了。

“人子啊，你住在叛逆的人当中。他们有眼睛却视而不见，有耳朵却听而不闻，因为他们是叛逆的人。

到那日，人们要唱哀歌讥讽你们说，‘我们彻底完了，耶和华把我们的产业转给别人。祂竟拿走我们的产业，把田地分给掳掠我们的人。’”

我要使你的额比火石更硬，如同金刚石。他们虽然是一群叛逆的人，你不要害怕，也不要因为他们的脸色而惊慌。”

所以，主耶和华说，你们在城中杀死的人就是肉，这城就是锅，但我必把你们从锅中拉出来。

他们却叛逆，使祂的圣灵忧伤。于是，祂与他们为敌，亲自攻击他们。

由于耶和华的愤怒，巴比伦必无人居住，荒凉不堪。她满目疮痍，令路人惊惧、嗤笑。弓箭手啊，你们要列阵围攻巴比伦，向她猛射，不要吝啬箭枝，因为她得罪了耶和华。
