曰、爾亞捫族、宜聽主耶和華之言、主耶和華曰、昔我聖所玷污、以色列地荒蕪、猶大家被虜、爾則曰、嘻嘻、

曰、爾亞捫人、宜聽我言、主耶和華曰、昔予之聖所被玷、以色列族荒蕪、猶大家盡被俘囚、爾見之則曰吁哉。

告亞捫人曰、爾曹當聽主天主之言、主天主如是云、昔我聖所被玷、以色列地荒蕪、猶大族被擄、爾見之則曰、吁哉、

Say to them,‘ Hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you said“ Aha!” over my sanctuary when it was desecrated and over the land of Israel when it was laid waste and over the people of Judah when they went into exile,

Tell them,‘ Listen to the message of the Lord and King. He says,“ You laughed when my temple was made‘ unclean.’ You also laughed when the land of Israel was completely destroyed. You mocked the people of Judah when they were taken away as prisoners.

Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God, Because you said,‘ Aha!’ over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile,

Give the Ammonites this message from the Sovereign Lord: Hear the word of the Sovereign Lord! Because you cheered when my Temple was defiled, mocked Israel in her desolation, and laughed at Judah as she went away into exile,

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the Lord GOD: This is what the Lord GOD says: Because you said,“ Aha!” about my sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile,

and say to the sons of Ammon,‘ Hear the word of the Lord God! This is what the Lord God says:“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile,

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God:“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,

and say unto the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

Say to the Ammonites: Hear the word of the Lord God: This is what the Lord God says: Because you said,‘ Good!’ about My sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile,

And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the sovereign LORD: This is what the sovereign LORD says: You said“ Aha!” about my sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile.

Tell the children of Ammon,‘ Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says,“ Because you said,‘ Aha!’ against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

主耶和華這樣說，仇敵說，哈哈，這古老的山峰歸我們了！』

嘲笑窮人等於侮辱造物主，幸災樂禍的人必難逃懲罰。

願謀取我性命的人蒙羞受辱，願喜歡我遭害的人狼狽逃竄。願那些哈哈嘲笑我的人羞愧而退。

仇敵跌倒，不要幸災樂禍；仇敵敗落，不要心裡歡喜。否則，耶和華看見會不悅，不再向仇敵發烈怒。

我的仇敵啊，你們不要對我幸災樂禍！我雖跌倒，但必再爬起來；我雖坐在黑暗裡，但耶和華必做我的光。

「主耶和華說，『你們看到以色列的災禍，便幸災樂禍，手舞足蹈。

烏斯地區的以東人啊，只管歡喜作樂吧！因為盛滿耶和華憤怒的杯也要傳到你們那裡。你們必喝醉，以致赤身露體。

「老人和小孩陳屍街頭，少男少女都喪身刀下。你在發怒的日子殺了他們，毫不留情。「你從四面八方召人攻擊我，如同召集人過節。耶和華發怒的日子，無人得以逃脫，無人得以倖免。敵人殺光了我養育的孩子。」

「耶和華說，『摩押和西珥嘲笑猶大與其他各國沒有兩樣。

「人子啊，泰爾譏笑耶路撒冷說，『哈哈！那通往列國的門戶已遭破壞，城門向我大開，她已荒涼，我必興盛。』所以主耶和華說，『泰爾啊，我要跟你作對，我要激起多國來攻擊你，就像大海掀起波浪一樣。他們要破壞你的牆垣，拆毀你的城樓。我要鏟淨你的瓦礫，使你成為光禿禿的磐石，在海中做曬網的地方，你必被列國擄掠，因為我已宣告。這是主耶和華說的。你陸地上的居民必死於刀下，這樣你就知道我是耶和華。』「主耶和華說，『我要使那王中之王的巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率領大隊人馬、戰車和騎兵從北方來攻打泰爾。他必用刀劍殺戮你陸地上的居民，建壘築臺圍困你，舉著盾牌攻擊你。他必用撞城錘擊破你的城牆，用鐵錘搗毀你的城樓。他人馬眾多，揚起的塵土足以遮蓋你。他要攻破你的城池，進入你的城門，他的騎兵、軍需車和戰車要震動你的城牆。他戰馬的鐵蹄必踏遍你的街道。他必揮刀屠殺你的居民，推倒你堅固的神柱，掠奪你的財物，摧毀你的城牆，夷平你華麗的房屋，把你的石頭、木頭和瓦礫拋到海裡。我必使你的歌聲消逝，琴音斷絕。我要使你成為光禿禿的磐石，做曬網的地方，你必不得重建，因為我耶和華已經宣告。這是主耶和華說的。』「主耶和華對泰爾這樣說，『你傾覆的時候，你中間的殺戮聲和受傷之人的慘叫聲豈不震動沿海地區嗎？沿海諸王因你而恐懼，都從寶座上下來，除去王袍，脫掉錦衣，坐在地上發抖。他們必為你唱哀歌說，你這海上眾民居住的名城，向來稱雄海上，威震鄰邦，現在怎麼被毀滅了呢？你傾覆的日子，沿海各國都戰戰兢兢，眾海島看見你被毀滅，都心驚膽戰。』「主耶和華說，『我要使你成為荒無人煙的城邑，我要使海水上升淹沒你。那時，我要使你與那些墮入陰間的人一同下到作古之人那裡，使你與那些墮入陰間的人一同住在大地深處久已荒涼的地方，好讓你荒無人煙，在活人之地毫無尊榮。我使你遭受可怕的災難，你便不復存在，就是有人尋找你，也永遠找不到，這是主耶和華說的。』」

「『因為你曾說，猶大和以色列必歸我，即使上帝在那裡，我們也要吞併他們。所以主耶和華說，我憑我的永恆起誓，你憎恨他們，滿腹怒氣和嫉妒，我也必這樣對待你。我審判你的時候，以色列人就會認識我。那時，你必知道我耶和華聽見了你譭謗以色列山嶺的一切話，你說，這些山嶺荒廢了，歸我們所有了。你妄自尊大，肆意譭謗我，我都聽見了。主耶和華這樣說，普天下歡樂的時候，我要使你荒涼。你既因以色列的荒涼而幸災樂禍，我要讓你遭受同樣的下場。西珥山啊，你和以東都要荒涼。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。』
