The voice said to me,“ Son of man, eat what I am giving you— eat this scroll! Then go and give its message to the people of Israel.”

他对我说：“人子啊，要吃你所得的，要吃这书卷，好去对以色列家讲说。”

他对我说：“人子啊，要吃你所得到的，吃下这书卷；然后要去，对以色列家宣讲。”

他对我说：“人子啊，要吃你所得到的，吃下这书卷；然后要去，对以色列家宣讲。”

祂对我说：“人子啊，你要把得到的吃下去，要吃下这书卷，然后去向以色列人传讲。”

他对我说：“人子啊，把你得到的吃下去吧！吃下这书卷，然后去向以色列家说话。”

他對我說：「人子啊，要吃你所得的，要吃這書卷，好去對以色列家講說。」

他對我說：「人子啊，要吃你所得到的，吃下這書卷；然後要去，對以色列家宣講。」

他對我說：「人子啊，要吃你所得到的，吃下這書卷；然後要去，對以色列家宣講。」

祂對我說：「人子啊，你要把得到的吃下去，要吃下這書卷，然後去向以色列人傳講。」

他對我說：“人子啊，把你得到的吃下去吧！吃下這書卷，然後去向以色列家說話。”

他對我說：『人子啊，你所得的你要喫下去，將這書卷喫下去，然後去對以色列家講話。』

彼諭我曰、人子歟、爾所獲者食之、當食此卷、往語以色列家、

又告我曰、人子、所獲者食之、當食此卷、往見以色列族、以我言相告。

又諭我曰、人子、爾所獲者食之、當食此卷、往諭以色列族、

And he said to me,“ Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.”

The Lord said to me,“ Son of man, eat what is in front of you. Eat this scroll. Then go and speak to the people of Israel.”

And he said to me,“ Son of man, eat whatever you find here. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”

He said to me,“ Son of man, eat what you find here. Eat this scroll, then go and speak to the house of Israel.”

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”

Moreover He said to me,“ Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”

And he said unto me, Son of man, eat that which thou findest; eat this roll, and go, speak unto the house of Israel.

He said to me:“ Son of man, eat what you find here. Eat this scroll, then go and speak to the house of Israel.”

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

He said to me,“ Son of man, eat what you see in front of you– eat this scroll– and then go and speak to the house of Israel.”

He said to me,“ Son of man, eat what you find. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”

So I went to the angel and told him to give me the small scroll.“ Yes, take it and eat it,” he said.“ It will be sweet as honey in your mouth, but it will turn sour in your stomach!”So I took the small scroll from the hand of the angel, and I ate it! It was sweet in my mouth, but when I swallowed it, it turned sour in my stomach.

Son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not join them in their rebellion. Open your mouth, and eat what I give you.”Then I looked and saw a hand reaching out to me. It held a scroll,

Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress.

“ Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel. Whenever you receive a message from me, warn people immediately.If I warn the wicked, saying,‘ You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths.If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed me.“ If righteous people turn away from their righteous behavior and ignore the obstacles I put in their way, they will die. And if you do not warn them, they will die in their sins. None of their righteous acts will be remembered, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.But if you warn righteous people not to sin and they listen to you and do not sin, they will live, and you will have saved yourself, too.”

Then I came to the colony of Judean exiles in Tel abib, beside the Kebar River. I was overwhelmed and sat among them for seven days.

Then he added,“ Son of man, let all my words sink deep into your own heart first. Listen to them carefully for yourself.Then go to your people in exile and say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says!’ Do this whether they listen to you or not.”

“ Son of man,” he said,“ I am sending you to the nation of Israel, a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me. They and their ancestors have been rebelling against me to this very day.

After King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon exiled Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, to Babylon along with the officials of Judah and all the craftsmen and artisans, the Lord gave me this vision. I saw two baskets of figs placed in front of the Lord’s Temple in Jerusalem.One basket was filled with fresh, ripe figs, while the other was filled with bad figs that were too rotten to eat.Then the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I replied,“ Figs, some very good and some very bad, too rotten to eat.”Then the Lord gave me this message:“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: The good figs represent the exiles I sent from Judah to the land of the Babylonians.I will watch over and care for them, and I will bring them back here again. I will build them up and not tear them down. I will plant them and not uproot them.I will give them hearts that recognize me as the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me wholeheartedly.
