告耶和華曰、何虐待爾僕、不施恩於我、而以治民之任加我、斯民豈我所孕、豈我所育、爾乃謂我、汝其抱之於懷、猶父之懷乳子、攜至誓許其祖之地、彼哭於我前云、以肉食我、我何由得肉、以予有眾乎、治民之任綦重、我不能獨負、如蒙爾恩、與其待我若此、毋寧殺我、免我遭諸困苦、○耶和華諭摩西曰、於以色列之耆老中、簡七十人、皆爾夙知其為民之長老有司、攜至會幕前、與爾偕立、我將臨而語爾、取爾所感之神、賦之於彼、使其同負治民之任、免爾獨負、爾語民曰、自潔為聖、以備明日食肉、蓋耶和華聞爾哭聲云、誰以肉食我、昔在埃及、我儕善矣、故耶和華將賜爾以肉、爾得食之、非止一日、二日、五日、十日、二十日已也、

神乃舉我上升、聞我後有震轟之聲、曰、耶和華之榮光、由於其所、當頌美焉、

故我充以耶和華之怒、疲倦難忍、可傾之於衢中之童、及少壯之會、夫婦耆老、及年邁者、必皆被執、
