我使爾舌卷、瘖不能言、維彼悖逆之流、毋庸督責、

我使爾舌貼於上齶、使爾為瘖、不得斥責斯民、彼原為忤逆之族、

I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious people.

主啊，求你使我嘴唇张开，我的口就传扬赞美你的话！

他对我说：“人子啊，我差你往悖逆我的国家，以色列人那里去，他们是悖逆我的。他们和他们的祖先违背我，直到今日。这些人厚着脸皮，心里刚硬。我差你到他们那里去，你要对他们说：‘主耶和华如此说。’他们是悖逆之家，他们或听，或不听，必知道在他们中间有了先知。你，人子啊，虽有荆棘和蒺藜在你那里，你又住在蝎子中间，总不要怕他们，也不要怕他们的话；他们虽是悖逆之家，但你不要怕他们的话，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。他们或听，或不听，你只管将我的话告诉他们；他们是极其悖逆的。“但是你，人子啊，要听我对你说的话，不要像那悖逆之家一样悖逆，要开口吃我所赐给你的。”

你们怨恨那在城门口断是非的，憎恶那说正直话的。

你们因此必遭遇黑夜，看不到异象；遭遇幽暗，无法占卜。太阳必向先知沉落，白昼转为黑暗。先见必抱愧，占卜的必蒙羞，他们全都捂着胡须，因为上帝不应允他们。

天哪，要听！地啊，侧耳而听！因为耶和华说：“我养育儿女，将他们养大，他们竟悖逆我。

以法莲亲近偶像，任凭他吧！

所以你当束腰，起来，将我所吩咐你的一切话都告诉他们；不要因他们惊惶，免得我使你在他们面前惊惶。

锡安的门陷入地里，主毁坏，折断她的门闩。她的君王和官长都置身列国中，没有律法；她的先知也不再从耶和华领受异象。

到了时候，这些话必然应验；只因你不信我的话，你会成为哑巴，不能说话，直到这些事实现的日子。”百姓等候撒迦利亚，诧异他在圣所里迟延那么久。到他出来，却不能和他们说话，他们就知道他在圣所里见了异象；他直向他们打手势，因为他成了哑巴。

不容骄傲人的脚践踏我，不容凶恶人的手赶逐我。在那里，作恶的人已经仆倒；他们被推倒，不能再起来。

“看哪，日子将到，我必命饥荒降在地上；人饥饿非因无饼，干渴非因无水，而是因不听耶和华的话。”这是主耶和华说的。他们必飘流，从这海到那海，从北边到东边，往来奔跑，寻求耶和华的话，却寻不着。
